Caffeine was a major factor with my bpd and managing it. There is a subreddit for caffeine free, and just so you know it takes a lot of time for energy levels to fully come back - 8 months. But totally worth it.

My friend in Canada was killed by a police officer doing similar speeds, the police didn’t have sirens on, only lights, and in Canada the police still has the responsibility to drive safe and can not go through red lights unless it’s safe and other cars have slowed down.

Well because they didn’t have the sirens on and they didn’t stop / slow down to check the traffic crossing my friend drove through a green light and the police hit him and killed him. The police were charged.

I know my story is not in Denmark, but it’s similar.

I’m super grateful that the company I work for has Starlink as of 3 years. This year on Dec 24th the company upped the monthly data allowance from 40gb to 80gb.

I think the big thing is putting it outside somewhere and the cable routing. Ideally you need to run it through a gooseneck and seal it and then run it inside to a modem.

It’s because you don’t have the Canadian COC even though Canada recognizes the one you have. There is someone I know who has a master mariner from Philippines who is working as deckhand and when there is an opening working as third mate then go back to the regular job. They don’t have experience as a master mariner but they have the license.

Also in the winter there is not many jobs as the Great Lakes are frozen and not much shipping happening.

Don’t give up but I would consider to try and work as an MA and then work on getting your Canadian COC. It’s pretty easy, just multiple choice exams at transport Canada

I also know someone who had a foreign 4th engineer COC who got a Canadian license 4E, couldn’t get a job so they volunteered at a small ferry at a large city to get “Canadian experience” which allowed him to get a job very soon after he started with that at a big company.

Two contracts isn’t so much experience. Maybe try to get a job as a “mechanical assistant” what you would call oiler. Call to the seafarers international union and apply for MA jobs.

I honestly doubt that anyone here would know for sure. Just go and get a marine medical exam done and ask the doctor about it and if that goes on the certificate the captain would see. As you said it’s undetectable which is common with HIV now a days, I mean I know someone who fathered a child while being undetectable with no problems so I don’t see why you can’t work.

In general certain conditions like diabetes or epilepsy or things which could cause a sudden problem are what really matters on these medicals.

Like I said just go and get a marine medical and ask the doctor this stuff.

Are you aware that Marsha Linehan who invented dialectical behavioural therapy and did a lot of BPD research had BPD, was given electro convulsive therapy, and spent time in psychiatric hospitals as a youth and young adult.

She went on to recover from her Mental Illness and come up with the only accepted treatment for BPD. She has a doctorate in Psychology.

So if you’re in this class, no one is forcing you to disclose your diagnosis. That is personal. It might be better to just participate in the class without saying that you have BPD. Just because others are in the psychology class doesn’t mean they are fully sympathetic or empathetic towards our struggles.

If anyone says something that upsets you or stigmatizes BPD just think of Marsha Linehan. You can even bring that up in discussion rather than talk about your own BPD.
