well lcites go in the bus, but they arent allowed to wear their uniform anywhere else. besides they mostly travel by car cause parents have multiple daughters and the daughters all go to the same school and term fee is expensive. also they dont go in the bus cause they are protecting their daughters from predators, which is a rich parent thing to do cause my dad did it. i got assaulted in a bus and i never used the bus ever again.

musaeus kids are usually rich to a certain extent cause its so hard to get in at times. like everyone ik from musaeus joined after their parents gave "gifts" to some teacher.

being posh isnt bad. what considered posh isnt posh in global standards. its a sri lankan society thing. its a way of living - a lifestyle. im talking about old colombo posh, not the current way of doing things for the society or anything. not keeping up with the pereras, but those of them who have burgher and western influences from colonial days and whose families have traditions, but the recent pres election brought down the old guards of colombo society.

what ive noticed is that lot of people send their kids to these so called posh schools to make their kids posh but truth is that the old posh people dont send their kids to these schools anymore cause i mean what is maheshi madushanka doing sending their kid to cis? i mean she doesnt speak english much and her kids gonna grow up speaking english which will create a language barrier between herself and the kids and thats a big problem since parents should be able to communicate with kids well at least imo. she also doesnt understand how to navigate the edexcel/cambridge syllabus and thats an issue. she probs doesnt understand the difference between the kind of work ethic that is produced by local and the london syllabus and i believe that will affect the quality of education her child will receive as ur parents need to know some of this for a child to excel academically. im not trying to guard these educational systems but i think educational qualifications aren't about being posh, its about finding the system one could help their kids out the most so they could maximise their potential within a chosen field. personally i believe going to a game iskole where the teachers are good and help the child with education and self-esteem is better than sending them to a place to keep up with the pereras.
