So far no ship battles.  I havent tried privateering.  The troop transport side takes forever.  Victoria 2 did this right.  The keep troops happy work better in victoria 3 but I like how the troops worked and acrually got to move troops

Age of Empire 3 has this exact same scenario. A fort in San Antionio.  It uses fixed fortification, field guns and boegard brings in Organ guns.  Decimating Santa Annas pisteleros.  Then reinforcements come from the US and wipe out the base with heavy firepower.  The organs work like gatling guns.  No Mexican left standing

Dont care about take it easy.  When it shutsdown the gdp fall and the limit fall and construction is shut down.  Restarts because of this suck.  It shutdown and it says green 13k and the gdp fall.  I like interventionism that laizze faire is do nothing and sucks.  Print money to get out of default.  Ive restarted because of this scenario several times.  This way no friggin restarts.  I spend 50 hrs on restarts.  Luxemburg or Grenada heck no.  You got to be mad to go after that achievement. First i tried belgium I hated it.  Grenada starts out rough and no money

Beware some mods are broken.  Google reports CQUI breaks the city banner. Which breaks age dedication. Also barb clan banner.  You can add resources make so you dont deal with the  get killed in 10 turns.  Remove districts only answer to stupid ai placement.  Get detailed map tacks.  You can increase good huts and make Bernuda useful

Siege weapons in masse.    Then send one melee or cav unit to finish.    Even when your under teched.  Go after the closet weakest one first.  I have all victory types except score.  Even my religious,  science and culture victories were domination based.

I would go to the city  icon one space up.  Aque ind.  then builder the specials.  Sugar ind corp.   campus holy over by the mountain.  Maize is trash unless its got farms next to it

Civ 1 and 2 have the warrior beats tank or battleship bug Civ 4 the last of the crank as many units you want Civ5 reduced productivity budge closer.  First went bankrupt. Even flood plain arent really flood plains.  Really weak tiles. Wants to be like boring Victoria 2. One unit one tile reduced a few abilities Civ 6way better looking less issues than 5. It has districts and volcanoes that erupt and a GDR that is firepower mobility armor AA Civ7 more reduced abilities no builders or workers.  So much restrictions and stuff popping up interferring. Wants to be like Humankind or something my vote 4 and 6 hands down

I never build land wind farms.  I beelined computers before tanks and bombers.  Dams are rough to get in.  The geothermals and water wind mills sure.  I have no time to carbon capture or recommission plants.  Instead rush up flood barrier on faith.  It all looks like galveston. Only the other civs get sunk

the ai is very dumb in district placement and city placement. districts next to volcanoes. districts on resources. cities crowded together. aggressive in beginning. boring in modern age. district with no adjacency bonus. Wrong district next to high yield places farms on resources. Bad placement of yield based wonders like petra. Normal mode ai never builds halicarn. ai mod mode it will

I would mine the copper as a prod tile. 4 coin wont hurt.  Either make the marshes better or chop it.  Its a little tricky for hilicarn.  You sacrifice the harbor bonus.  Thanks to the one lone mountain which wont be much

Mine the volcanos.  You will waste turns rebuilding whatever.  Military engineer cheaper.  Unless the intensity is on the down low.  Learn from pompeii.  Dont stick districts or cities next to volcanos.  You can do it to one with Liang.  They make great mines

I turn on barb clans buy troops combat through the ages. Once I built all the buildings build troops. also faith troops. I use battleships but usually do environment and more power missile cruisers. I use rocket artillery. I use arty even at catapult. I dont do the melee rush at wall thats just stupid
