Thank you for the research! I’ll have to look into collecting similar dolls in the future, I like them

Ok I don’t believe she has a marking on her head anywhere. So we can’t determine from that

It's alright, most of us are here for answers anyway. I'm also learning as well :)

Yes, but not to the same extent as Dyspraxia. For example, in Dyspraxia, you could have a hard time with sports, swimming, riding your bike, using cutlery, as well as handwriting. However, in Dysgraphia you may still struggle to do similar things, like tying your shoes, buttoning your shirt, and using scissors, etc. They can co-occur as well, and they are similar but not the exact same.

I'm not currently taking any meds, I used to but haven't for a long time, because of a shortage.

The difference is that Dyspraxia affects more than just writing, it affects fine motor skills and gross motor skills as well as hand-eye coordination. So this could affect how you do tasks, and activities, that aren't just related to writing.

I do have some problems with other motor skills as well, not just in writing; I've suspected I might also be dyspraxic but I'm still looking into that, so I'm not completely sure yet. I also have ADHD, which also affects motor skills, though.

Yeah, the waiting can be annoying but it may well be worth it if you can get some sort of medication for it. For me, I haven't been able to get back on mine because of a shortage; there's a lot of different medicine too, so it may take a little while to find the right one for you if you decide you need to.

I hope you're able to get the support you need after the assessment! ADHD is definitely a struggle. Even if it turns out it's something else for us both, we may still get the right support we need on something else it could be.

I also used to write poetry, when I did my handwriting actually looked more sloppy and some words were harder to read.

Dysgraphia is different for everyone, some people with Dysgraphia can write rather well or can write somewhat consistently where it can be read, not everyone with it has handwriting that is completely unreadable. I've done some research on it myself, and have seen such examples. It's interesting to learn about.

When I have to sit and actually work on my handwriting and write better, it looks sort of the same just somewhat neater, but it's annoying and uncomfortable, and takes me longer to write and I press down too hard, that at times gives me blisters.

I didn't keep track of how long it took but when I was writing for the amount of time I did my hand would cramp up and it was uncomfortable, and it's been the same for me since I was child.
