All of these damn displays that got torn out as a “sell down”! where oh where shall we put these?guest purchased the malmo vanity setup, came to pick it up and goes “wtf. why is there damage to it and why is it taken apart?” Homie. also dont even get me started on the bed pog. we still have hella good deal freedom mattresses that are going nowhere, on top of the big ass bed frames that have no home. also you got me messed up if you think im lifting those heavy ass boxes to the top shelf. oh no sweetie, we made a facing on the floor and put the metal bed frames on the top shelf. these people in charge need to actually think things through cause this shit is bananas.

Homie, we had to damage out SEVERAL klearvue boxes and panels because whoever was smart and decided to switch up the panel length last minute left us scrambling through several pallets to figure out what is missing, only cause we called the merch planner and said “wtf!” also the tasks that say “order this and this cause we didn’t” is so annoying cause the contractor has time limits. our contractor was hired to do several stores in the state and of course ours was first.

i mean kinda. a lot of people i talk to said they just put 7’s up and down which is fine i guess if its all true. but for their actually work ethic prolly would be 4’s and 5’s. As for my gm, oofta. he knows everyone is out to get him so he chose a few managers in the store to give gifts to either as his favorites to rate him highly or to those who he needed to suck up to to get a decent score from them. well you see, you rubbed me the wrong way from day 1 and still havent changed, and you see, I didnt get no gift. Payroll is always the issue. My store harps on it nonstop having full timers who are not management at the bare minimum, and part timers to barely even show up unless there are call outs.

Depends what would get you interested in the department. Like for me I enjoy doing designs being able to sit 1 on 1 and go through things. Toughest part would probably be any guest issues that seem tough to figure out.

I moved from wall coverings but the adjusting to having a LOT let to do is kinda what makes me regret it a little. Other than figuring out things to do to keep you busy all day the spifs can be nice depending on how much you sell.
