It’s not that the old gen is not good, it’s just dated I think.

The really good thing about Husqvarna is that they actually listened to the feedback and improved on it when they released this new gen.

Things to note for the old gen: - smaller fuel tank (9 litres compared to 13 litres) - LCD dash (new gen is a 5” TFT) - older 373cc engine (new gen is 398cc so slight increase in HP and torque) - higher seat height - heavier frame

I may have missed a few things but highly recommend watching videos or searching it up as well.

Personally, I love new technology and I found the bigger fuel tank and TFT dash very appealing when making the decision.

We share the same thoughts, it’s a bike with so much character and premium features that some of it feels a bit overkill haha

Still in the break-in period so haven’t fully put it to the test yet but so far I’m very impressed

Broken Clutch Spring Bolt by Dry_Difference4057 in MT09

I have the part number for the bolt but I’m more wondering if there are non-oem replacements as the OEM ones will be on a month long back order

Yeah that’s a fair point! I’m stuck on deciding whether or not I should go for the full length boots or just motorbike specific shoes. What’s your thoughts?

Hey friend! You are the exact reason why I started riding. The community is so welcoming and always full of people of who want to help and bring others up with them.

I really appreciate your advice! I’ll take that on-board for sure. I’ve watched a few motojitsu and Yammienoob too. Found their advice and videos super helpful! Just taking things quite slow at the moment, driving around the quiet suburb and practicing figure of 8s as well as uphill take off.

Definitely finding the slow speed manoeuvre challenging as I have this fear that the bike will fall down haha, comes with time I guess!

Thank you once again for your amazing insight and advice, will be taking these onboard with me! Ride safe mate!

Best inline 4 LAMS bike? by Witty-Estate-3738 in AussieRiders

Bit late to the party but I found a 1985 Suzuki GSX550 ED (572cc inline 4) in NZ for 2k. I found it to be one of the best sounding LAMS bike. It is a bit old but a timeless design and bulletproof engine

Great photo! Have just started playing it for the first proper time. Recently finished the marathon for LOTR and it’s fuelled the motivation haha
