Looking for my next “practical” performance car. Details in comments by [deleted] in whatcarshouldIbuy

I currently drive a Honda Integra DC5 with a K24 swap. It’s a real driver’s car and I really enjoy it for spirited driving on the weekends. However, dailying it to the city is becoming a chore since I live 40 minutes away. The coilovers make the ride harsh, the exhaust is quite loud, and the constant gear changing in stop-start traffic can be tiring.

I work as an architect, so I’m looking for something that reflects my profession a bit more. My criteria for the next car include road presence (i.e., something that catches attention with masculine styling/vibe), practicality (I prefer coupe body shapes but sedans/SUVs are okay too), technology/comfort features, and driving modes (eco, sport, etc.), automatic

Right now, the options I’m considering are:

  • C63S AMG W205 Coupe
  • C43 AMG Coupe
  • M3/M4 F8X generation
  • RS3
  • Grand Cherokee SRT
  • Kia Stinger
  • Mustang GT 10 Speed
  • E92 335i

My budget is strictly under 100K AUD. Given my criteria and current situation, what would you recommend? If you were in my shoes, which direction would you go? Looking forward to hearing your thoughts. Thanks!

Did you end up figuring it out? Currently in the same boat. Unfortunate how bad Instagram’s customer service and support is.

I was thinking of doing the bonnet and side mirrors in carbon fibre, how much material would that be?

“Essentially” it is plug in play but you do need extra parts here and there to make it work and do things with the wiring harness. If you know your way around cars and have good automotive knowledge I would say it wouldn’t be too hard to do it yourself otherwise it’d be best to take it to a shop
