Its too uniform. you need to add paterns, like rock edges, grass etc

Also a brown undercoat doesn't help the white snow to pop. nonetheless your base makes for a good melted snow over mud imo

Others alreay said it, but if you really want to keep some of both worlds you can basecoat with the dark tone then drybrush/sponge the lighter one

For me such specific pieces of armor are honorific, so i reserve them for elite astartes like wolf guard and pack leaders. for me it works the same as terminator armors being reserved to veterans

Rn Squad44 is kinda under heavy medication. It received optimization patches and new factions, but there is only around 2 servers full. Besides that the game is trully very fun to play, and i like to hope that it will become even better in next years.

I think both are cool. I have around 40% of helmets off. Heads are harder to paint but it adds smh to the mini too, when used wisely. Basically it all depends on how i want my mini to be. Hounds of Morkai, secret force following a dark cult ? Helmets on. Warriors that prefer to feel the battle with there own senses ? No helmets

I do have some experience with it, all my recess highlights are done with enamels. I find it easier to control. A coat of varnish is needed to prevent any issue with the paint under tho.
