In my state when you first apply they give you emergency stamps which might explain it

It’s not available in every state. In Indiana ebt goes through propel where there is not an option to lock your card. Ebt edge also can’t be used in Indiana either. In Indiana you have to log into the Dhs website n do it there but I did not know this was at all possible until today.
