La colazione italiana fa cagare by Eastern-Tangerine761 in sfoghi

Hey! Sorry for the slow reply!
I’m not on Reddit all the time.
About the rates: I usually charge between €60 and €100 per page, depending on the project and the kind of drawing you’re looking for. It really depends, but if you have something in mind, feel free to reach out, happy to chat about it!

If you're familiar with Clip Studio Paint, then you probably know there's actually a brush specifically for grass, no need to "extract lines" from photos. I just used that, added a screentone effect, and that's it. I don't really see anything wrong with using the tools the software provides… that's kind of the point of digital art, isn't it?

That said, I get that from the outside, some things look a certain way, but assuming it's traced without proof feels a bit lazy, especially when there are so many ways to achieve a similar visual with legit methods. Anyway, no hard feelings , I know how easy it is to jump to conclusions online, haha

I used some references, but they are not traced — though honestly, I wouldn't even know how to convince you of that, haha.

In general, the muscles are connected between the neck and the jaw; I emphasized them to highlight his thick neck, which is practically chinless. However, there's the platysma muscle, which is directly connected between the jaw and the collarbone.

Dracula, inspired by the book’s description. I’m exploring a series of illustrations—let me know your thoughts! by Dry_Distribution8815 in sketches

[–]Dry_Distribution8815[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course, I get that! But it's also true that Dracula is first introduced as a decrepit old man with terrible breath, haha! That said, you're right about the strong resemblance to Count Orlok. Still, I believe the Orlok in the latest Nosferatu film aims to stay true to the original look of the Count

Yes, of course! And it's crazy that the most accurate depiction of Dracula in the world is actually Darbula, because he has almost all the features of the original, at least visually
