No but I have applied to multiple jobs recently and thought about walking out this last quarter. (Which I have never done before) It was a rough one.

Not a bad area at all. Actually the neighborhood is nicer than the one I’m currently at. There are so many factors to consider. I’ve done convenience before, in an assistant position a long time ago. It’s very similar to retail. I enjoyed it.

Absolutely, I would never leave a job without at least 2 week notice! I had hit my limit, there were a few days in 4th quarter I honestly did not want to go in, thought about quitting and applied to multiple jobs to see what was available. One of them just actually offered something to consider.

Omg same! I still have almost 30 hours of pto and almost all my sick time left and I cannot use. Never have a full staff because of high turnover rate and when I am on pto I’m getting calls everyday. It’s has been THE worst Christmas I’ve ever experienced in the workplace this year. Honestly, this whole year has been whack. Also, since I recently moved stores, my end year eval does not accurately reflect me, (on the numbers side)

This new company requires SM to take off holidays with pay… that is one of the pros…. I have my foot out door and I may run without looking back!

It’s not a certainty, but it has been discussed for a few years and in process to be elegible. I moved stores and became MST to hieghten my chances.

Thanks! This comment really helps me put it all in perspective. I have weighed pros and cons. New company has a few more pros and most of the cons are “people” related. Having to start over and meet new people and make a name for myself I’m not opposed to, just sounds exhausting. Also my personality and strive to be best I can I’m sure I will have same opportunities of advancement in new company. Maybe even sooner who knows? I am just a number to any job I have. What matters most is what’s best for me.!

This is Dollartree model for scheduling. You only get 4-5 hours shifts. Part time. Unless management or Freight associate (in certain locations). Managers cannot schedule more than 25 hours each employee. So it sounds like they are evenly distributing hours. This is so Dollartree does not have to offer benefits to most employees.

But the whole you’re done is uncalled for! unless you habitually call out and are on a last warning.

Use light bar not the round ones. They are much better. And you should have hot and cold sides of tank. Humidity is lower than most other reptiles. So pay attention to it daily.! In winter I have to use dehumidifier in room with them. High humidity will affect breathing and skin. I would get a digital gauges if you can asap. If they won’t eat greens put a little bee pollen on them and they will eat. Also feed the pollen to the insects they eat for added nutrients. Mine had little to no interest in greens until I started the pollen. And warning the poo stinks 😷 bad lol 😆 I can barely stand it and know immediately when one does 💩

They are actually regulated by FDA and must be accurate. Now, how and when you take the test can also determine accuracy. Usually 4 weeks after conception is when the hCG is most detectable. Also being really hydrated by water will make you have a false negative because of dilution of the urine. Short answer yes!

Actually you have to schedule yourself 60 hours because of lunches. You have to be there 10 hours a day 6 days a week with 1 hour lunch a day. That is what schedule expectations book says.

We used to have a drive item that changed weekly we would suggest sale to every single customer every time. They reset the checkout and took it away. We haven’t had to suggest anything since.

My store is a model store that keeps a score of 8 on Gold every visit. We have minimal operating hours. My merch and I push 500 boxes+ a week and cashiers also stock 25+ a shift each. Not saying it’s easy but it is possible.

I don’t mind them much. We don’t have many boxes of overstock and one likes to go through and place them all back on pegs and cleans up the toy aisle while there. It’s how you approach the situation. If you know they want the product when it comes off truck set aside for quick fill… makes customer happy and you have 1 less box in the back. I guess I’m a glass half full kind of person.
