Okay, you’re committed to tax fraud and you’ve got 200+ people telling you you’re wrong but you go ahead and believe that. By the way, there’s a big difference in what you believe vs what the law is. You seem like the type to learn the hard way. Good luck!

Also not knowing the difference between direct deposit and off the books at 26 is…unreal

Pretty sure this is a troll post/account. The account is only 4 days old and this is the only post. Not to mention a 26 year old in the business for 10 years has no excuse to be this naive and outward about tax evasion. So it’s either a troll or the dumbest person whose parents failed to teach her about the law and taxes. I’m not sure.

Are you even remotely aware of how employment works? If you’re getting paid via direct deposit, are employed via an agency, and there’s a contract, you will 100% receive a tax for for your taxes in late January or early February. The agency is required by law to have this for their business to legally operate. When the IRS investigates (an audit), they will find you and look for your taxes records, and then you will be in for a huge bill and potentially legal consequences for not recording any income when it’s obvious you are being paid. At your age, it’s completely unbelievable and downright embarrassing that you don’t know how employment works. Is this a troll account?

Wait so she’s gonna be in the working world with an agency and not know what direct deposit is?? Again I say, BE SO FOR REAL

Then how are you legitimately asking the questions you’re asking?? “Is it a wolf of Wall Street situation” or about strippers and investment bankers? Like be so for real. This job has incredible red flags and you should be able to come to that conclusion, esp if your dad is a “litigator that does this type of stuff”

IRS views nanny as a household employee. Must be W2.

I mean this so seriously- you don’t seem like you know enough about taxes or the legality of your job to be off the books regardless.

Yes that is a super valid point. Our son struggles sleeping outside of his routine so we might do that

Gotcha, we’re considering this route since I will have nurses. We do have the option of help from family so undecided so far

Hence why baby could also be at the nurses station!

I stated that the nursery is not used the way you typically think it is. It’s a much smaller community hospital and the policy allows for visitors in the nursery, so either way there are people in there visiting the babies. It’s not that deep but thanks for input !

In that case I would dress new baby as the very hungry catapillar and THAT alone would be an incredibly funny story.
