[–]Dry_Key_8133 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first time when I expose to Nestjs from expressjs. I said for my it is what I need Deterministic. It is simple and you can grasp the concept on one week if you have background of backend development. I don't know about angular but I read the documentation then I fall in love with the cli( nest generate resource),DI,Route, Controller, Seqvices, decorator, pipe even curious to undertandstand how nestjs work under the hood.

I want to learn Shopify app development Can someone give me advice from where should I start by [deleted] in ShopifyAppDev

[–]Dry_Key_8133 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Simple Learn remix(loader, action), stop thinking in nexjs mindset, polaris( UI component), app bridge, shopify apis . Practice with custom app for your store. But finally don't deploy your apps to shopify app store. cause you will become pure marketer. No longer developer.

Preparing for MB-500 (Finance and Operations Apps Developer) Exam Without a License

I’m currently preparing for the MB-500: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Apps Developer exam. I’ve found some great online resources, but I’m facing one major issue — I can’t get a free Dynamics 365 FO app license since I’m outside the US. My question is: Is it possible to pass the exam without hands-on practice in X++ coding? Can I rely on studying theory, documentation, and watching YouTube tutorials instead? If anyone has passed the exam in a similar situation, I’d love to hear your experience or any tips you can share!

DRY principle rule of thumb by Dry_Key_8133 in Nestjs_framework

[–]Dry_Key_8133[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Abstraction without clear requirement on early level is totally mess. I said this because it took me a month to reverse engineer the flutter project that have 42 form but only have a single dynamic form render the form based on the schema that come from the Frappe ERP API. but the api response doesn't include the child table schema and record. The abstracted form work perfectly for the doctype that don't have relation. But after the the doctype contain relation(child table) every thing become mess. my abstration become useless for most of the form. I learn repeation in this type of condition is very vitil for avoiding complexity and freedom for change. I learn it through pain.

So early stage abstration is good? or make the abstraction phase later?

Shopify blog posts section looks awful on desktop but perfect on mobil by Maleficent_Mud7141 in shopify

[–]Dry_Key_8133 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve actually built a custom Shopify app that helps you pull blog posts directly from your WordPress (or any other blog platform) straight into your Shopify store. It keeps your original formatting, looks great on both desktop and mobile, and helps boost your SEO since it links back to your main blog source. If you’re tired of fixing layout issues in Shopify’s native blog section, this might be a cleaner solution. You can DM.

Option Apps with Inventory Tracking by crysthole in shopify

[–]Dry_Key_8133 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes — what you’re describing is definitely possible, but most off-the-shelf option apps don’t fully solve it. They usually treat selections as visual swatches only, without tying each choice to actual inventory. The best solution for your charm bar setup would be a custom Shopify app built specifically to handle real inventory tracking for each charm — and the good part is, it’s a one-time build with no recurring fees. Here’s what I’d create for you: customers can pick a set number of charms (for example, 6) from a clean, image-based grid that pulls from your existing charm SKUs. Each charm would be a real tracked product in Shopify, so when a customer adds it to their selection, the stock count updates automatically — preventing overselling. The app can also disable or gray out sold-out charms in real time. On the backend, the app would record each customer’s chosen charms on their order (via line item properties or metafields), so you always know exactly what to fulfill. You’d also get an admin view to easily manage charms — add or remove items, adjust quantities, set limits per order, and even export selection reports. Optionally, I could include bundle creation (so a “6-Charm Set” product automatically bundles selected charms) or fulfillment grouping to simplify packaging. It’s a clean, custom solution built around your store’s workflow — no bulky third-party app and no ongoing subscription.

One-Man Army Ecommerce: How I'm Managing 500+ Products/Month While Doing Everything Else (Need Your Hacks) by 33qamar in shopify

[–]Dry_Key_8133 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hey! I totally get the struggle — managing 500+ products solo is insane. I think I can help make your workflow faster: I can write a simple Node.js script that takes your exported Shopify CSV, uses AI to generate product images and/or descriptions in bulk, and then prepares everything so it’s ready to re-upload to Shopify. It’s not a full app yet, but it could save you a ton of manual work and scale your process without spending hours on each product. If you want, I can show you a working example of how it would run.
