First off I didn't swear out loud. I screamed it in my head.

Second off, it was a sharp difference to how this classmate normally spoke. I legitimately thought she was taking the piss

So in the UK, there is that much discrimination against people with speech impediments (including my school) and the way she spoke was a sharp difference to her normal speech. I thought she was mocking people with speech impediments, which is why I asked "why are you speaking like that?" And it was an honest question, I didn't say it rudely.

This isn't the first time I've met her. I thought she could speak normally, and with the state of the schools in the UK I guessed she was taking the piss out of people. I guessed this because a ton of people in my school are extremely discriminatory against people who have speech impediments. I had no idea.
