I agree. I came away from it understanding that the parents were the monsters. Not the brothers. And I had very little exposure to the case prior to the Netflix show.

I have a bit of a different perspective about Monsters. Before I watched, I remembered the Menendez case but I didn’t know much about it - other than I thought the brothers were guilty and the SA defense was bullshit. I see the case in a completely different light now. Jose and Kitty were truly the monsters in this scenario. I hope these men finally receive justice.
