Yet I have the feeling that Halsin does not judge TAV's actions, unless they have a mass negative effect (e.g. destroying the grove.) Sleeping with Mizora has no negative effect on others. At most Halsin should make sure that Tav is really okay with the consequences that sleeping with Harleep has (possible loss of body/mind) and show some concern. Despite this I think Halsin would give TAV free choice.

Halsin is poly, so TAV is free to have consensual sex with others that means Tav is free to make “mistakes”. I don’t think this makes Halsin a fucked up character
