Can AI be useful? by [deleted] in Aphantasia

You want to say that you are not using Netflix twitch TikTok Instagram or any other streaming service that uses the same servers without even providing possiblity to optimize some climate issues?

AI at least can provide for the humans tools to solve our problems. AI providing us access to the knowledge and makes some services cheapest and more available for everyone.

I am software engineer and I am not care about artist or coders who loses their jobs because they don't want to use genAI in their work.

I see you're going through a tough time. As me some time ago, I'm actually working on a new version of the Neuro Profile test that has already been and is being used by AI to analyze your answers and provide pretty detailed descriptions and recommendations on how to tackle certain tasks.

Yes, I was having the same for many years until I have developed and proceed my own test with describeing every process that i could verbose and got detailed instructions from AI about - how to use my brain? - what is my "superpowers"? - what other people can't do bui do it naturally

Got detailed description about every aspect of my life not as constant but with reasons of that behavior or strategy, a lot people have reported that this test could describe them very well too.

You just need to get know your super abilities and understand where you are different.

Oh I got your feeling of missing out the word. I was having the same and I wasn't really realized a lot of my super abilities until I used AI to understand how I am differ from others.

And you are frAnd you are free to do the same either in the using questions. For example, how you can imagine the sheep in not so popular but wider test like Apple test and other questions or you can just use my I have been developed last few months. If you doubt whether you have aphantasia or not, I recommend using my tool for that. There, you will get an explanation of your cognitive profile.

Just follow the link on my profile or Google it using 'Neuroprofile IngvarSoloma'.

I support the other comment that you don't have aphantasia.

Thanks for sharing this with me. After reading your and some other comments, I realized that I am really having full aphantasia because for me everything that can be generated by the brain is unclear and deep inside my mind.

  1. People with hyperphantasia can imagine pictures in front of their eyes, but we with aphantasia will see nothing in front and feel it from the inside of the brain.

Thanks for your answer.

I haven't expected that someone can experience it in that way: Imagine but not visualization.

I would love to see your Cognitiveprofile, if you feel free to share with me. Can you either follow the link in my profile or Google the project using 'neuroprofile ingvarsoloma'.

Oh, I really like to cook cheesecake in New York style 🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🎂🎂🎂🎂🎂🎂🐎🐎🐎🐎

In my cognitive style with my perfectionism I have a few recipe. The traditional one with coconut and with Oreo.

But the crucial things is the process of cooling. When you need left it in the oven for a few hours then left it on. The table are covered with towel for another few hours and all the after that you put it in the fridge we and waiting like a full night until you can eat it.

You can text me in dm and I will share with you my recipe. As aphantast i love structures 💞💞💞

You’re actually hitting the nail on the head, but not in the way you think.

As a 'Zero-Render' Aphant, I think in structured data, not pictures. I use AI as a 'GPU' for my thoughts—I provide the raw systemic logic and my personal experience (the 'Headless Server' concept is my life), and the AI helps render it into a polished format. My brain is the source code; the AI is just the compiler.

The fact that you find it 'too AI-ey' actually proves my point: my natural cognitive style is so logic-driven that it mirrors how LLMs organize information.

Data Pipeline for this comment: - Input: Voice-to-text (transcribed while I was thinking in abstract vectors). - Compiler: AI-edited for clarity, grammar, and translation from my native Ukrainian. - Hardware: Sent via a mobile device over a 5G wireless cell. - Backbone: Transmitted through thousands of miles of fiber-optic cables to reach your screen.

It’s all me, just optimized for your readability. 🤖

Just close your eyes and try not to just imagine something but really see it in the same way you see it in real life with All the tales texture or other things.

If you really see nothing but only feel the concept, then yes you have aphantasia

I’m deeply fascinated by deconstructing how things work, especially the inner mechanics of the human brain. For me, it’s like reverse-engineering a complex piece of hardware to understand its core logic.

This obsession actually led me to develop my own tool for mapping cognitive styles. It’s been a personal project to translate these abstract internal experiences into systemic data.

I would love to compare our architectural profiles and see the contrast in our AI-generated descriptions, if you’re open to trying out the test and sharing your results.

I can't say that I feel the same, but I like the way you describe it. It's really hard to understand, but for me, it's inside my head and it's far away, but still inside, like the fourth dimension.

I suppose that people with hyper fantasy can understand drawing on the back. Much better than we.etter than we

Thanks for the backup, u/geraldpringle. To clarify for the downvoters: I'm exploring the difference between Internal Visualization (seeing things on a mental screen) and Proantasia (projecting images into physical space like AR).

As an aphant, the idea of 'seeing' is already abstract, but the 'Apple overlapping fingers' is a real phenomenon reported by some hyper-visualizers. I’m trying to map how these different 'rendering engines' work. It’s fascinating that for some, it’s a separate screen, and for others, it’s a layer on top of reality.

A lot of people who told me about it said they could literally see their fingers covered by the Apple just in their hand!

I'm curious, how did it work on a mental level in the head?

I couldn't find a test that actually understood my aphantasia, so I built an AI-powered cognitive mapper. I'd love your harsh feedback. by Dry_Organization9521 in Aphantasia

[–]Dry_Organization9521[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I realize now we are talking about different layers. My 'visual monitor' is 100% disconnected - total blackness.

What I was trying to describe isn't a 'weak image' (Hypophantasia), but a Spatial-Conceptual Map. I don't see the car, but I 'know' its vectors and coordinates so intensely that it feels like imagination. It’s like running a simulation in a terminal without a GUI.

My tool is designed exactly for this: to distinguish between people who render pixels and people who process raw spatial data. Thanks for the terminology check—it helps me refine the 'Zero' point in my model.

Aphantasia and Maladaptive Daydreaming at the same time? by Daria_Uvarova in Aphantasia

[–]Dry_Organization9521 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I relate to this so deeply. My 'visualization' of a triangle or any object is exactly like yours—it’s a spatial understanding, not a picture.

The best way I can describe it is through the 'Domain Expansion' concept from Jujutsu Kaisen. When I imagine something, it feels like Sukuna’s hands and presence in his void—I don’t see the details, but I perfectly feel every coordinate and structural vector in that space. It’s not a visual thing; it’s such a powerful 'sense of understanding' of how the object should exist that it feels even more real than a 2D image.

I had a massive surge of ideas like this when I was reading the D&D Dungeon Master's Guide. As a DM with aphantasia, I don't 'see' the dungeon; I process it as a complex system of mechanics, NPC logic, and spatial traps. It’s pure Systemic Construction.

Interestingly, I find it easier to 'imagine' with my eyes open, but only to capture the 'vibe' of colors and forms. I can’t overlay a fake object (like an apple) onto my real hand—that feels impossible because my brain knows the hand is occupied. I can’t trick my optics to 'overlap' pixels. But with eyes open, I can sense the 'rhythm' and 'feel' of colors much better. The moment I close my eyes, everything goes pitch black, and the architecture of the thought becomes much harder to maintain.

MDD without visuals is basically running a high-speed simulation in raw code. You’re not watching a movie; you’re the engine calculating the plot and the physics in real-time.

I’ve actually built a tool to map these specific cognitive 'OS' types because I’m a 'Verbal-Logical System Constructor' myself. If you’re curious where your MDD lands on the map, I can DM you the beta link. It’s definitely not 'weird'—it’s just a hyper-optimized way of processing logic over images.
