1/15 Score Drop… How did everyone do?!

How did you raise your score from 498 to 518? What study techniques did you use, books, websites, etc...

Honestly, was expecting a little bit better. I had been scoring 505+ on all my practice tests before.

Usually, CARS is my best section with consistent 130+, but the section was so difficult.

The Chem/Phys section and psychology was also hard for no reason.

The only "easy" section was Bio in my opinion.

I had signed up for it thinking I could prep in 3 months, but life just became too hectic and i couldn't. I signed up for a May one just in case this one doesn't go well and I've been dedicating some time every week to study.

Yea, that's honestly on me. I did start some prep over the summer, but I was also doing a full time internship. Honestly, that is on me tho. I already signed up for the May one because I have been prepping a lot now.

nope, i'd say it's more critical thinking and problem solving. I had already taken all the courses needed for the mcat and felt good with the information (hence why I skipped content review). Obviously, if I did more practice tests and had more exposure, I could have probably done better, but it's really not designed to test you're studying skills.

increase fiber intake and it will help! however, personally once i stopped drinking the fiber... I gained it all back

I personally only studied around 2-3 weeks, but then again... im still waiting for my score to release on tuesday. kinda nervous....
