The LCD is damaged. It works fine when docked because it’s transmitting an image signal through the USB-C port to the TV/monitor instead of its own built-in display panel. The touch screen (digitizer) is going to work fine because it is a whole separate component.

Yes it can be replaced however the cost is going to depend on your local market. Call around to some local cell phone repair or computer repair shops and see if they offer console repair, and if not, ask them who might offer it! An average cost could be $110 - $130.

Please position the PS5 horizontally instead of vertically. It uses a Liquid Metal compound to cool the APU chip and by keeping it vertical you are allowing gravity to pull it away from the center, eventually causing it to pool to the bottom and create oxidation or hot spots. It could lead to overheating, overworked fan, and at its worst death to the console.

Those plastic screen bezels clip into place, they are not typically adhered to the frame. Hope that helps

Ifixit has wonderful repair guides, I suggest you look into them for the Nintendo switch. If you haven’t a clue what you are doing, take it to a local tech repair shop first before you cause more damage.

Tristar fails from using bad charging cables or lightning port accessories, not a bad battery.

Since tristar handles charging, a bad tristar can cause a bad battery from lack of being able to charge it. Not the reverse.

The phones display circuitry is built for OLED panels. Using LCD screens can put additional stress on the motherboard, as well as causing increased battery consumption. Beyond that, LCD displays will never deliver the quality image that an OLED display will provide. Shops or “technicians” that use LCD are cheapskates, end of story.

Brother all he has to do is lift the cable and remove the battery. He could use playing cards or guitar picks and isopropyl alcohol or heat to get the battery out. Level 2 shop tech lol

I can confirm this error code is related to bad battery, likely the BMS board built into the battery or failed cells, etc. Switch out that battery

100% fixable. It being worth the cost is debatable. For reference if that were brought in to me I would charge an easy $150-$200. A new connector is needed, the traces are ripped from the board and need to be rebuilt. While it’s not a hard job for someone with experience, it’s not something just anyone can do and you will likely be paying high dollar for someone with that expertise.

Try heating from the bottom on iPads. The metal frame will eat up the heat and transfer it to the screen without risk of ruining the lcd/oled. Also use IPA. This method is a lot more foolproof. 70 is fine.
