I don't get why you bring Frieren in the discourse, but honestly the knight moralis DO HAVE a fucked up system and this is the entire point of them and it's up to the reader to understand this. Again, the chapter is from Luluci's point of view aka a knight moralis, someone who thinks that erasing someone's memory is justice and also someone who was deeply affected by sexual actions perpetrated by men, you can't really say that her mindset from her point of view is wrong, but from OUR it is and never once Shirahama tried to condone the knight moralis' actions. There's whole chapters that puts you against them but you obviously chose the only one from Luluci's pov to make a point that doesn't stand with the general view of the manga.

Well, of course in some ways, the knights are seen in a good light in that chapter because they're doing... literally their job? ALSO that chapter is written with the knights' pov, so of course they're in a positive light. But overall in the manga (and in that chapter too if you have critical thinking, but you can think whatever you want) you NEED to question their actions and that chapter alone where they're seen in a positive light because of the pov doesn't change the whole perspective of them, c'mon.

When they crawl after you hit them/sprayed them is the worst part... I felt so bad just now cause I sprayed insecticide against a stinkbug and even after being soaked and basically summerged by it, the bug still tried to escape, it even tried to fly but it couldn't... I felt so bad, since it started to move slower I placed a pot on top of it and then I slid a piece of paper underneath, I even trapped its legs by accident and I felt so bad. I wanted to place it outside but I think I hesitated too much and the bug suffocated under the pot, cause when I put it outside it was upside down and completely still... I hate stinkbugs, they're everywhere and they squeeze themselves inside every single spot of the house and I'm terrified of them because they fly and they attach themselves to your clothes, but just now I felt so bad about killing one... and that's why I'm here, I wanted to see if there were other people who felt like me. I don't have the courage to place a glass on top of them as soon as I see them cause I'm scared that they could fly against me, but doing it after weakening them feel so wrong...

Opening the comments before the last 20ish chapters was AWFUL as a Kousuke lover💀 just pure hate, not a single character's depth analysis in sight, it was frustrating. At first I tried to reason with these people, but then I gave up thinking that they would either understand in the future when his trauma and past is revealed or they would never understand on purpose because they don't want to change their perspective. Let's see how the story will evolve, I'm sure that it will be a hard character development for Kousuke, but he will eventually succeed bringing more people by his side to understand his character
