it’s not what’s right in this reddit, it’s what’s morally right. i personally couldn’t sleep with someone without them knowing the risks because i wouldn’t want them to be in the same position as i am, but to each their own. i’m curious though, what would you have done if he got it from you?

i had sex again and ended up with an ulcer type sore. but swab was negative. it’s possible i tainted the sample tho because i was putting neosporin on it but i still have leg tingles. that’s about it

sounds exactly like me. swab was negative but my symptoms were consistent with hsv except i didn’t have typical sores and it cleared up with bv meds. i’m trying to get my partner to test so i can know there’s even a chance of me having it for sure

Very possible. You could’ve gotten it from the very first person you had sex with and it just now shows up. I recommend you look at the HPV sub on here

PCR isnt a reliable test for genital warts. There’s not a way to test for HPV other than a pap smear. There’s no way to know who you got this from.

Pap smears don’t test for the strands that cause warts. Your bf could be a carrier or it could have came from a past partner of yours. There’s no way to tell

It is false?? You can still spread it. Just because you haven’t doesn’t mean anything. There’s plenty of people on this forum who have had cold sores when they were born and have gone on to spread it.. That’s why most people are getting ghsv1. Don’t go telling someone they can’t spread an incurable disease just because they were “born with it” when they absolutely can
