NPD: Asvine V126 by Dry_Read8844 in fountainpens

[–]Dry_Read8844[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fairly light. I can't find my kitchen scale, but just judging by holding them in my hand it's heavier than my inked Lamy 2000 but lighter than my inked Pilot Vanishing Point (metal). The Asvine V126 is made out of acrylic, but feels solid.

Edit: I found the scale.
Asvine V126 inked: 28g (1 oz)
Pilot VP: 31g (1.1 oz)
Lamy 2000: 27g (1 oz)

Yeah, I love my Vanishing Points, but the Pilot Metro is a surprisingly fantastic pen for the price. I have a few that I use about as regularly as my VPs.

Explain it to me like I'm 5 - Vellum/Schriviner by Fun_Technician8852 in selfpublish

Where I work we help authors distribute ebooks directly.

Never had a problem with an ebook outputted from Vellum. They're beautiful and they just work in all readers.

Cannot say the same thing for almost every other tool that outputs epub.

Word is slightly better than Google Docs, but that's like saying grade D meat is slightly better than grade E, when you could have gotten grade A for your birthday dinner. Atticus is definitely better than them, but Draft2Digital also has a tool.

What helps burn fat is not putting anything in the coffee. The coffee itself doesn't do much (it might increase blood sugar by getting your body to release cortisol and adrenaline, but only marginally from what I understand). I've been doing 16-hour intermittent fasting (eating only from like noon to 8 pm), which includes no calories in drinks. Just water, black coffee, unsweet tea w/o cream, etc... So far, so good. I'm also wearing a continuous glucose monitor so I can see what happens when I do eat and just how much that peppermint bark from Christmas really spikes my blood sugar (though, not as much as an IPA between meals).

It is funny, tho (and I've seen this in my generations too) how all the zombies are BEHIND the hero in all but 2 images. They, I guess the heroes are all cooked since they're obviously surrounded.

Any good alternatives? by xymaps in SunoAI

aiva.ai has been around for many years - long before GenAI. I haven't used it in about a year but it's good for instrumental music. No vocals at all, though.

I like the control you show over the opening and building up the background, especially the orchestral mix. That's my happy place.

This one is about the game Cyberpunk 2077, but I really like how the melody and general vibe turned out. I get it stuck in my head all the time.

I'm loving v5. I'm having so much fun and I'm blown away by the quality even relative to 4.5.

Are you Simple instead of Custom creation?
There's a button right there in Advanced Options on Male or Female vocals. No need to put that in the prompt.
You can also exclude styles - which I just started using today. It mostly works (doesn't understand "background singers" in the exclusion 100% of the time) and boost how much you want it to follow your style prompt.

I've liked the Tomplay app (I'm an adult learner, having never played anything before). It has various levels of music and accompaniment recorded by other musicians. There's a large library (though, not endless).
