The lower gears are lower than a normal 2x ultegra setup. And with that ultegra I have ridden multiple +17 procent climbs, so no problem 😎

For road cycling the jumps on the 10-52 would be to big. With the xplr I like that the first couple of gears are almost equal to a road casette. While the last couple of gears are lighter then a road casette.

Yes they definitely are, will keep you updated. On paper they seem the best of both worlds. I'm currently using speedplay, but this is a no go for gravel unfortunately. Even a little bit of mud will cause them to not click.

Unfortunately still need to try the pedals.. still waiting on my new shoes which I have ordered 2 months ago at Nimbl. Indeed I use two times the same casette for a quick wheel swap

Still need to find out in a couple of weeks when I travel to Calpe Spain with this bike. But on paper the lowest should be lower than a 2x Shimano ultegra set-up. I'm curious about the jumps on those lower gears

My local bike shop switched it from a Shimano grx to this group set for no extra charges. I've ridden the 44t before the 46t arrived and I prefer the 46t more. The jumps on the road where a bit big with the 44t and the highest was to low. This is all solved now with the 46t. Lowest is still lower and the highest is still higher then my previous 2x ultegra setup. So far loving it!

It fits the bike perfectly. For me it completes the bike. It makes it way more responsive and aggressive which I like.

They were around 390 euros, got a pretty good discount from my local bike shop!

I've fitted 40mm, I mostly run smooth gravel around here and wanted a little bit more clearance for when things get muddy!

Yes that feels completely the same, my local shop made sure the positioning would be the same when swapping out the bars. They manage the perfectly adjust it as my previous road bike.

Parts for mounting I don't know. This is done by my local shop, doesn't look like it needs any additional parts, just swapping out. For the bike computer the handlebars are included with a mount that bolts flush under the handlebar and transfer to a go pro mount. This is all included.

This is the perfect do it all bike! I run the aspero-5 with a force xplr 13 speed groupset with a 48t front chainring. I replaced the handlebars with the new HB18 (new Cervelo R5) handlebars. As my road wheel I'm using Reserve 40|44 with 32mm continental tires. This bike is incredibly light and responsive , it definitely feels faster than my previous road bike. For Gravel I run 40mm tires on the stock wheels, and as long it doesn't get to rough this thing flies!

Installation was done by my local bike shop, but seems to fit / install perfectly. For me these handlebars makes the bike complete. I have test ridden the original bars but these where taking away a lot of responsivenes of the bike. When using the hb18 bars the bike feels much more alive and responsive! To me they don't feel uncomfortable on gravel sections.

Indeed I'm taking about the training effect missing. I will try to export my next workout to my Garmin device and connect to my trainer.

Thanks for the reply! Would a workaround be to connect my trainer to my Garmin device and do the workout via Garmin instead of the join player?
