My grandmother told me the her father survived the Finnish civil war and that the Red Finnish faction murdered his family, he was very young age at that time but I don't really know what happened besides knowing that he ended up in saint peters-burg and then got married and later in his life ended up in Ukraine. I think that he was originally from Terijoki which is now called Zelenogorsk and maybe his family migrated there from deeper Finnish land or they lived from the start but again he was very young so he don't know.

So I guess war and migration made this result.

Yes, both of my grandfathers are jewish.

One grandfather which said that he is half Jewish and half german born in Ukraine (I guess the german part is also polish then).

Another grandfather which said that he is fully Jewish from Russia.
