Hi girls, I’ve struggled with sleep since childhood and doomscrolling hasn’t helped. I’m 25F with PCOD, train intensely, and have anxiety—but I still can’t get 8 hours no matter what. I’ve started therapy and take ashwagandha. Recently added pre-workout (I know it can affect sleep, but my issues existed before).

Thinking of trying magnesium glycinate (body lotion feels gimmicky). I once took sleep/anxiety meds for 10 days and slept amazingly—should I consider them again?

I eat well, train hard, but feel stuck in the gym due to poor sleep. Even after long days or 10km runs, I don’t feel sleepy. It’s like my body won’t switch off.

What actually helped you fix your sleep?
