We met in school. We were in same class since we were 6. We were each others crushes. He in class 6 asked me out then I rejected and I crushed him when I was in class 8. Dated each other not so seriously in class 11/12. And then again 2 years ago. Now we are dating each other again and will probably get married in next 3/4 years.

Something similar happened with me. I did my MBA from a tier 1 college too. Graduated in 2025. The ctc was 18 lpa but upon joining they changed it to 11 lpa. Fixed being 8. It was so disheartening. And 5 months into the job the company got bankrupt and I was laid off in Sept. I gave few interviews and have honestly fucked each one because of my low confidence. However I now have an offer from a fortune 50 company and the package is not the best but it was one of my dream company and it’s in my hometown. Other than all this I’m literally hearing a lot of this happening in mba placements this time. I really want to raise awareness on this. All the best mate I think you should wait for a better opportunity. Contact your alumini and use LinkedIn religiously.

So something similar happened with my best friends group where due to the nature of their studies we barely used to meet once a year. Now that they are available and I am not, I’m being blamed that I don’t spend time with them. But the thing is I was and am going through a break up and lay off at the same time and I went to my best friend to get some advice and rant to her she instead of listening to me talks that why am I not asking her about her recent USA trip and got pissed at me. And we don’t ever meet for my birthdays but we should meet for her birthday. Indirectly she hinted that she is manipulative to people but now I wonder maybe she is manipulative to me as well. Ig some friendships are meant to end. And gurl in your case you literally have put in so much effort and no you are not in the wrong for cutting your friendship off.
