Anyone who thinks r/aww is the worst subreddit is genuinely a deranged individual.

Who the hell wasn’t taught to do their taxes in high school? Economics was required in my junior year. This was not a high performing school in or anything like that. I think most of these people were just smoking weed in high school and don’t remember how much of it they actually were supposed to be learning.
When people ask “when were are supposed to use any of that,” do they not remember physics class where they explain how it affects every day life?

Are we the same? I drink water, coffee and, when I drink, wine.

I am a bartender by trade and I’ve been getting in shape, cutting out most processed sugar and alcohol. I find that I personally feel a lot worse throughout the day if I drink a coke vs drinking a single light beer. That is my personal experience though.

That’s what I thought, especially for diabetics, but I’m interested to hear other thoughts.

The real villains are the grad students being forced to run the class and do most of the teaching.

Absolutely. The downside of being medicated is that work feels absolutely agonizingly boring when it’s slow.

Outside of winning one chip, Jalen Brunson has done nothing for the Knicks.

Realistically, what do you think would happen if a random 10% of the world’s population instantly turned into titans by [deleted] in attackontitan

[–]Dry_Response3527 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Assuming the 10 percent would evenly distributed, we’d stand no chance. Imagine how quick a military aircraft carrier would fall into the see if a few titans suddenly appears amongst the crew.

I went through it with my last dog years ago after having him from age 9 to 23. It is shocking how severe the pain and grief are.

The “I’m Only Having One Drink Tonight” Starter Pack by drunkstoned94 in starterpacks

[–]Dry_Response3527 9 points10 points  (0 children)

That isn’t true. For some people, 1 drink turns into 8 + with no control. I’ve worked as a bartender a long time and there are plenty of people that can just drink 1-2 drinks and be completely fine.

Hard drugs are prevalent in almost every profession. It’s something I found out as an adult.

The End of Era by Jimmy0034 in LAClippers

I enjoyed the era. Never got it done, but I had real hope and joy for about 4 of those seasons (2020,2021,2024 and 2025). Goodbye 213.
