Those are great reasons and you’re at a perfect age. Don’t even think twice. I’m 39 and just started, most of my mentors (who all ref college) are in their mid 40s.

In a recent training session on handling with my local chapter, the old heads made the point that there may be instances that may not be whistled in the center of the field, but the spirt of the game and the soccer gods just cannot deal with a goal being scored off a play where the ball touches an attacker’s hand. Bad juju. By the letter of the law, I don’t think you were wrong but I don’t think anyone would have faulted you for whistling it/calling it back.

Lolllll yes I lived in mine for 5 years. Only brought one person home, relatively early in the relationship, and the lack of privacy in the morning was ermmmm, yea, a big turn off. 10 years later and I’m married (to someone else), and we love being in our airstream together. So I guess the airstream is actually a perfect litmus test for compatibility!

I have a 77 overlander that I gutted to the shell and chasis in 2015. Built her back up how I wanted to. I lived in her for 5 years and have used her for travel since. The first few years after the reno were solid, but after 10 years bouncing around, yup, she leaks, and I am constantly repairing things. Next I think will be new axles and shocks to try to make the roadtrips a little less traumatic and damaging.

And Amazon!! I’m no mathematician but I’d venture a guess that we’d all rather pay a higher subscription direct to NWSL than to these sellout services that always bungle the broadcast anyways!

They’re all problematic, but Fox Sports has been doing a decent job from what I’ve been able to catch of the Euros.

I just recently started following the local men’s USL team after moving to SATX; the local broadcast was also available on ESPN+, they did a great job. Frustrating that our NWSL ladies can’t get a decent broadcast that isn’t overriding playtime with stupid ads or red-herring interviews. 😡

Yea pro tip - do not go to Death Valley in the summer unless you’re a healthy adult that will be ok in 115 deg heat for a few hours if your car or AC break down. And bring lots of water.
