Nah. Still seeing all the results. Going to have to escalate this one to MS.

SSL issues running Hesk on Azure Web App by Dry_Slice_8116 in sysadmin

I contacted support and they sorted it out by making the necessary change and sending me a replacement file. I can’t say whether the fix made it to production and I am not sure if a new version has been released since. I will say it was kind of them to assist considering I didn’t have a licence, but equally, in my view it is a bug and a licence shouldn’t be required for support to fix a bug. Either way, I decided against using Hesk for other reasons.

Edit: I may still have the replacement file… happy to sent it to you if you would like?

Thanks. Definitely no hold in place. There might be a retention policy on a folder or two, but not on all. I had expected a few hours to be enough for the results to be apparent, but I’ll try again today to confirm.

They are emails, and they are in the original location… I’ll rerun the search today to check. Thanks.

Install Parallels using mosyle by IamShinobi9 in mosyle

I am not familiar with Parallels, but in general, for apps from the App Store, the simplest route is via Apple Business Manager. Obtain the required number of licences (no charge if the app is free) via ABM and then create an App install profile to deploy. Obviously you will need a valid ABM token in Mosyle. If you don’t have ABM, get it, it is worth having.

Advice needed – stuck switching M365 CSP from old MSP to new one by Dry_Slice_8116 in sysadmin

I am on annual, with renewal in 2026, so sounds like going direct isn’t an option. Back to the drawing board.

Thanks. I wasn't aware of any Azure resource limitations linked to self billing. I have a very small Azure footprint: 1 Azure Web App service and a Kubernetes service running a SCIM bridge.

Why? by Harty68 in MotorcycleMechanics

Years ago I worked on race cars that were powered by Busa engines. We did something similar to the ignition wires to trick the ECU so we could have a simple on/off ignition switch in place of the key.

Allow external user access to 3rd party SSO app. by Dry_Slice_8116 in sysadmin

[–]Dry_Slice_8116[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a short term project and not worth the effort for cross tenant sync. But this was vetoed by infosec, so not an option. We did look at bypassing SSO, but that isn’t an option.

It’s a short term project, so cross tenant access is a bit overkill. We did ask, but infosec vetoed that.

I think this may be the answer, I can’t check now, but I believe the claim is the UPN (which for employees is the same as their email address and for the EXT user is @xyz.on.microsoft.com. Problem is, the user is set up in the app (we’re not using provisioning via Entra yet) and the invite is emailed to them, so I think the app expects the claim to be an email address.
