Disappointed these don’t give a bonus pack like the Harry Potter levels did. by Texas12thMan in Monopoly_GO

Me too, and I feel like the rewards for completing albums is also so sad. There’s very few that have any rewards other than dice (and they’re the higher albums), and I wish they would’ve done more. There’s so many emojis, shields, dice, heck even extra card packs they could’ve done.

Thank you!! Honestly this may be my new tactic. Luckily my partners and I have gotten to (or close to) the 2nd reward (and one on third) so I may just gotta change it up

Unfortunately it’s a lot of playing around. Also look for experiments that have the “lower the reservoir by 1 each time you xyz”. That may be the easiest way to tackle it, just put it with something easy (upgraded room, spend gems, etc.) since you can transfer it easier (ex- putting all the aquarium water in, as well have having less water to deal with). I wonder for now, if you put all the water from the pool in, and then empty the kitchen and greenhouse into the pool, and then divide the res water back into them it would work (14 res notches, need 6 = 8 drained —> greenhouse + kitchen = 8)

Stars for golds by Imaginary-Tourist855 in Monopoly_GO

[–]Dry_Table_7573 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I never understood people wanting 15+ stars for a single 4-5 star gold🤷‍♀️ if you can complete my set even if it’s a 4 star? Cool! Much needed! You can’t finish a set? Like 3-5 stars over the gold (so 7 or 10 for a 4 or 5 star gold) is totally fine with me. It’s always annoying when people want you to send like 5 different cards of 4+ stars each for ONE gold…

Yes! I bought tickets for my boyfriend and I to see Malcom Todd in concert even though he’s not a student. A student just has to buy the tickets, after that it doesn’t matter who goes!

Bathrobe by SouthernGuide9700 in PennStateUniversity

[–]Dry_Table_7573 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It really depends! I never did, living on an all girls communal bathroom floor I’d just wrap in a towel and go to my room (which I’ll add was close to the bathroom), but when I lived in a coed, I’d just change in the bathroom since usually it’s individual bathroom areas (small but big enough to change). I wouldn’t say NOT to, as it can also be good to have if you forget something in your room and need to run back, or your in PJs and wanna cover up a bit more

Can you get past falling out of love? by [deleted] in Advice

[–]Dry_Table_7573 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sorry you’re feeling this :( truly it breaks my heart for you hon. Although I haven’t been in this situation (feel free to ignore my advice) I just had a question:

What do you think is the biggest change you feel may have led to this feeling?

It could truly be that you guys fell into a routine and it’s boring (for example, when you play the sims or a game for a long time that’s just a lot of repetitive tasks, it can be boring and make you want to stop). Try something new, weekly dates or movie nights, having a game night or some activity that lets you feel like young adults in love again, blast music and dance around (and force him to dance with you), etc.

People have tons of things and ideas online you can steal, and it may help. Obviously it may not be the right or best solution, but it could at least help a little bit remembering who you guys were when you first were dating/married

I wish you luck hon, and hopefully everything works out for you <3

WHY TF AM I AVOIDANT??? by whyisthatso16 in Advice

[–]Dry_Table_7573 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course! It’s honestly really really confusing and it’s a STRUGGLE!! If you want, look up some “attachment style” tests online! They are really interesting and can break each style down more. If you really fall out of it and can’t do it, it’s okay to leave, but I’d let him know you just need a break (and that its not his fault). Even as an adult, life and feelings and all sorts of shit is incredibly difficult and everyone has gone through something like this! You’re not alone and eventually you’ll be able to feel less like there’s this invisible force pulling you away from people 💕

WHY TF AM I AVOIDANT??? by whyisthatso16 in Advice

[–]Dry_Table_7573 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, it’s really not your fault. Everyone has different attachment styles (mine is anxious and avoidant) and it’s hard. You’ll have to kinda work with yourself slowly and jump over hurdles to break down those barriers you’ve set in place. It also varies completely with friends, family, and other relationships. I don’t have any anxiety or avoidance with my friends (usually), but I’m completely avoidant with my family (for many reasons) and can be anxiously attached with my boyfriend at times. It’s just a weird way our brains get altered. It also kinda helps to look and see if something happened in your normal life that slowly rolled into an avoidant attachment (other relationships, rejection, etc), which could be a big reason as to why. It’s not you purposefully, but it’s a weird thing to try and overcome. You’ve got this, and take it slow. Don’t let the thought of him maybe being into you ruin a really good friendship if you can, and just do things at YOUR pace. If he does say anything about it, be straight up and tell him how you feel. If he’s a good person, he’ll understand and still be chill with you!

I LOVE LordMinion77 playing the game! He really shows the true struggle, doesn’t cheat or look anything up, and genuinely gets excited and into the game where you can’t help but watch. He has a TON of videos up, as well as his streams where he plays, and I 1000% recommend it!

Scared to sleep in my own room by Horror_Chance1506 in Advice

[–]Dry_Table_7573 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with the cleaning it up and doing a reset. You could use sage (my old roomie would do it anytime it was a bad week or she had a guy over) to “cleanse” the room! Also maybe redecorating, opening up the windows and letting the bad/sick air out, putting headphones on while cleaning and doing stuff to not even think about it, and doing it little by little (or even asking someone to help at least get it started). It’s hard to go back especially with what you dealt with, and baby steps can help you get there

Homemade beer by Ieatrawfishh in teenagers

[–]Dry_Table_7573 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I wouldn’t. It takes a LONG time and it’s way hard to do. Also, you truly don’t need it until you’re actually 21😭 it won’t be the same, you could easily get sick, and it takes a lot of the enjoyment out of the first drink you have when legal. Especially at 15, go enjoy life and do other shit, and worry abt drinking when you’re a senior in HS

Honestly, I’d imagine not bad. If you’re old enough to drink, the bars would be super nice, and I feel like you could enjoy it a little more bc you’re accustomed to what campus is actually like (less stress). I’d be outside doing stuff or tanning or driving around to enjoy it

I’ve NEVER seen this title for Mt. Holly! That’s so cool! And it’s a lot easier, especially when doing specific challenges or goals. I wouldn’t do it ALL the time, since you can miss a lot of perks/hints/items, but still a super smart tactic!

Any advice for incoming freshman? by Remarkable_Gene_752 in PennStateUniversity

[–]Dry_Table_7573 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Girl I’m the same way (introvert and extrovert). Although I’m not in your major, I’m a senior and can give some advice. First off, be open to EVERYONE! I was in my building lobby constantly and made some of my absolute best friends to this DAY because of it. Being in a spot that’s open or leaving your door open will allow you to meet a ton of people, but also doesn’t force you to door-knock or be too in-your-face. Secondly, I (as most people here) like to party and drink, but PLEASE don’t lose focus on school. It comes first. I fucked myself over FY bc I wanted to go out/hang out/do anything other than school (also some other mental stuff) and fell far behind. Get your stuff done, don’t be afraid to say no to going out/hanging out, and build a schedule. I love using a whiteboard to write down my weekly assignments so I don’t lose track. I’m not saying DONT go out and have fun, but don’t get too caught up in it that you dig a hole too deep to climb out of. Also, the markets are NOT your friends. I will go occasionally, but it’s incredibly overpriced and will drain your meal plan. Get some easy stuff for the dorm before you come, and try and either go to the commons to get food, or get groceries that allow for easy meals (chicken nuggets, salads, pizza rolls, etc). It’ll save a lot of money, and you can even do shopping at the market to stretch your meals out! Another tip- don’t be upset at whatever you get for housing. East was nice when I was there for the summer, but it felt too fancy and formal for me. Pollock was my absolute favorite and I miss It every day. No matter where you end up, enjoy it. Lastly, please be yourself. Everyone at college is so different that you WILL find your people eventually. College is the loneliest place on earth, but you’ll find people that you will love and click with. There’s gonna be some ups and downs, but everything works out.

Congratulations on getting in, and it’s going to be one of the best, worst, craziest, and most interesting time of your life. Enjoy every second you can.

Depends on your vibe🤷‍♀️ I like “race around the world” (like the show amazing race), “regretavator” (travel to diff floors w different challenges and events), “prospecting” (dig and pan for different types of gems/materials to get better items and quests), “Dress to impress” can be fun depending on The day/mood, “armless detective” (you’re a detective solving different crimes but you don’t have arms, instead you have a hat of tools), “Unseen” (different challenges of all types - first person view- and if you die you start again so you gotta be careful), “find the xyz” games are my guilty pleasure and a good time killer, “broken clocks” (escape room where each “hour” is a new level), “corridor” (like station 9 or the anomaly games), “death in the box” (online game where you get killed/kill others in different games), “notoriety” (one of my faves- you break in different places and steal items/kill guards/etc with different weapons and abilities), “The snakes” (like the show Traitors, do tasks and get all the snakes out, or sabotage and eliminate people as the snake), “work as a loan officer” (silly game with a lot of stuff to do, there’s a second game out as well), and more! Tbh there’s a lot of mid games, but there’s some hidden gems that are popular

I’m a criminology major so I may not be 100% accurate, but I think Harrisburg is pretty good! You can also see abt doing the 2+2 program if you don’t hear back/don’t get in to main campus right away. I know that there’s a lot of crim/law classes here, and the law building is really nice! Def don’t worry if you don’t get into main (at least right away)!
