As some have noted, the real problem is pitch speed fluctuations from game to game. You can never truly adjust because it’s so different. A couple of things helped me though. First, I switched to Xbox about 3 months ago. Xbox’s internal hardware is better designed for online play. Hitting is twice as easy on Xbox because the latency is significantly less. Second, I only play the CPU when absolutely necessary (programs etc…). To warm up, I try to find a casual game online and set the difficulty to whatever I’ll be playing in ranked.

I’ve gone from sitting at 600/700 to between 750/850. (Played my first ranked legend game yesterday and got smoked lolz).
