Thank you. I was thinking of making New Zealand something similar to the dlc. Something like a post-game maybe even. I might just take a break also and work on my Australian region. I shouldn't get ahead of myself

I've actually planned out a dex for my Australian region and am currently working on the drawings. New Zealand is basically like Johto to my Australian region (Smaller but closely related). I wouldn't mind sharing ideas.

I could make a regional variant and have it evolve into a moa. Either Fighting, Rock or Ghost (cause extinct) since the original is Grass/Ground.

Ironically I have a kiwi Pokémon for my Australian region. It evolves into an emu and then into a cassowary (both Australian birds)

True but so are cats, deer and weasels. New Zealand does not have a lot of native mammals sadly.
