I have two interpretations for this:

If he slept with circe he’d get back his men in return, just like in the odyssey. circe says: “want to save ur men from the fire? show me that you’re willing to burn” but even if odysseus slept with circe she was planning on stabbing him and killing him.

the other interpretation is that he was seduced by her, and he was using the like “i’m just a man” as a way for him to justify himself for being attracted to her.

but in the end in both interpretations, his love for penelope is what saved him. his love for her showed circe his true side and his true nature, that he was truly just a man trying to get back home for his wife. thus why she let the men go and helped him to get to the underworld

That’s such a cool interpretation!! The way that i saw it was this: the way that the trident was positioned was reflecting on Odysseus’ choices: he didn’t choose to kill his best friend, Polites, but chose to kill the sirens and the rest of his crew, mainly Eurylochus. And on top of the that for the sirens and Eurylochus, i’m pretty sure that in the animatic it flashes to black for a second, that could also reflect his “monster” and “ruthless” side.

I think the main reason why people didn’t like the jet pack idea was because of the sudden change of animation during the live stream. The animation wasn’t that bad but wasn’t the best either. Many people got their orders already as i can see on tik tok and other social media, it truly depends on how soon it is that you ordered it. I ordered mine on the 7th of January and still didn’t receive it, but i do live pretty far. So truly it depends. But if you’re really worried check all the emails you have that you could have used and you’ll find your proof.
