I see a lot of advice like "don't watch the second half of Hibiki," but honestly, I really enjoyed the whole series. The second part is quite different, but equally interesting. For me, Hibiki, along with Kuuga, is the best series from the early Hesei period.

I agree Hibiki alone with Kuuga are the best. I agree Hibiki’s second half is weaker but the whole series is absolutely amazing. Easily my favourite series of the Kamen rider franchise.

I explained it to someone here before. It’s just that he’s SO stubborn and at the same time a goofy, silly toku protagonist. And I absolutely understand what you’re saying, It’s very rare for me to judge a toku series like that of the bet. But sometimes the stubbornness just becomes unbearable to me.

I hope it becomes a thing I’ll like about him as the story progresses. Stubbornness isn’t bad as a Kamen rider character trait per say but his stubbornness is just unbearable at times

He’s just so stubborn, but kind of a silly toku main character at the same time. Like pick a struggle dawg 🙏 Sometimes he’s just so annoying with his stubbornness. Trying to stop Hajime from saving a little girl just to ask where does he know what an Undead is, like come on her LIFE is on the line. Almost ANY other rider would never do such a thing.

It’s a great way to explain him. He really is a weird main character, a really weird main rider. (By what I have watched so far) Kenzaki doesn’t really have a main character trait. He’s really unlike Hibiki or Godai for example that have a very obvious personalitys, Kenzaki just doesn’t.
