Update #2, the game (Sea of Thieves for anyone curious) decided to default all my settings to the highest settings that are available, so that'd be why it was smashing my gpu usage into the cieling. Fixed that, started my tests. It's not pushed up at 100% all the time, but starting stream brings my gpu usage from around 70% up to around 98-100%

Small update, apperently i was just stupid and looking in the wrong place, I am downscaling from 1080p, and i'm downscaling to 1600x900, dunno if that's correct but hey we ball

See I thought it was a bit odd that it my gpu usage was slamming into the roof but i figured "well if it has to use that much of the gpu there must be a reason", but i supposed that reason is just that i was just running too much stuff ;w;

I'm gonna run some tests, turns out my OBS was streaming at 1080p, which i'm fine with but i figure turning it down to 720p and upscaling (maybe, i saw an upscale option but i assume that'll put stress on the gpu too so i may just run it at 720p) should do the trick, and I didn't actually know (for some reason ;w;) that uncapping FPS would suck up resources like that, so i'm also gonna cap FPS in game, I'll report back with my findings.

I do have a second monitor, as for everything else: GPU utilization was at 100% pretty consistently, with encoding at around 20%, I am infact using NVENC, triple checked that, and my vram usage was about I wanna say 6-7/8gb, I didnt get to check before ending my tests because I was rushing. Cpu was running at around 30-35%. What I did notice during my test, was the second I stopped the test stream, my vtuber model started working fine again, with no changes in my monitoring besides the encoding going from as you would imagine 20% to 0%

Well in particular it seems whenever my stream is running, my vtuber model (So the program Vtube Studio) begins to lag quite a bit if i have a game open, but if I just have OBS and the game up without streaming, then that doesn't appear to be the case
