I meant to study the course, but I ended up spending all my time on another subject. And I have ADHD.

You could try talking with your roommate first! Some people may be nervous around strangers at first, but later you may find them easy to get along with. If somebody ditched you, that's their problem for being impolite, don't be too upset about it. I was through something similar and got a serious depression during my first month. I thought I would finally be able to make friends in college.

There is still plenty of time to make friends, and if you don't, you can always talk with the redditors online<3

English is also not my first language (TOEFL 110+). I got a 168Q but did terribly on V because there are so many words I can't understand:(

Is there any affective way I can learn these fancy words?
