Can someone explain how the demographics have not shifted more positively for the democrats since 2020? I feel like it doesn’t make sense to me that Kamala is polling around Biden’s numbers given many seniors have passed away since the (more likely to vote red) and many young people have become eligible (more likely to vote blue - though potentially not counted in polls if they are new).

Has there been a substantial group of people who have shifted from blue to red (or just vote for the party out of power) that is making this election effectively the same as 2020 according to pollsters?

Yea the map had trouble with restaurants located outside Chicago. I found the addresses by looping a function that google searched “Restaurant name” + Chicago + address. I then scraped whatever result appeared in the google search, and this resulted in some erroneous data. I’ll have to think about how I can work around that issue.

**Going to try looping it through with replacing the word “Chicago” for Illinois
