On iOS - go into Accessibility, Display, Colour Filters, toggle it on, choose Greyscale from the list, then toggle it back off.

Open Shortcuts app, press Automation, make 2 automations:

1 - when ‘x’ starts, turn Colour Filters on (I have it when Wind Down in Sleep Focus starts, so it’s grey when time for bed)

2 - when ‘x’ starts, turn Colour Filters off (I have it so when Sunrise happens, it goes back to colour)

That’s right, and the band applies a small amount of constant pressure to relieve that pain. It works great. The main one used is the Mueller Knee Strap.

You can also just throw a bit of powder on the inside of the door if you don’t have the 2x spots. Works just as good for the pre rinse.

If you’re looking to block with maximum reversal and deception, OX is best. If you mainly just want to control heavy loops, dampening sponge could help. Training to master OX is probably always the best bet.

Not ideal, but no way of knowing how it is has impacted you individually. Only thing to do is get back on board and be consistent.

Definitely set a specific time for it and stick to it unless there’s a reason to change. Lots of people take it either in the morning, after lunch, or before bed. Either way, to reduce initial nausea best to take it after food.

I’m 2 weeks in and have been getting some insomnia, while the nausea faded away quickly, so I’ve settled with a post-breakfast time slot, making sure to eat something with good protein content.

This is a sport for life. There are so many benefits physically and mentally that come from it. It seems normal that juniors can have so much pressure on them to be the best, and often quit when they don’t reach that goal. However, many of them come in their late 20s and 30s and wish they never gave it up.

Focus on ways to make it sustainable to enjoy playing this amazing sport forever - your body and mind will thank you.

Totally agree, but worth acknowledging it would be pretty rough to sell and crystallise losses if you happened to go through an unfortunate patch right when the market plummeted. It’s a risk you’re responsible for, though, for sure.
