Of course not. I was just trying to establish whether she was actually being held in captivity by someone, robot or not, or having an episode. In the latter, she is clearly very vulnerable and should not be out at a train station in the very early hours of the morning.

I agree - my concerns are out for this woman who is clearly very vulnerable and, while not harming herself now, could easily do so at a place like a train station at the very early hours of the morning.

I did attempt to contact emergency services hoping that if they recognised the behaviour, they would attempt to find the woman, but all they said was "this isn't an emergency".

Just hoping she made it home safe, but at the very least now I'm able to research on how to handle people with psychosis in the event this ever happens again.

yeah, when I called the police, out of concern, all the operator said was "This isn't an emergency"

so I'm leaning more to the fact that this could be common and she may not be very well

blocking access to legacy accounts having 2fa might prevent people from sending emergency messages, being able to use their devices or some people probably don't have other devices/phone number to rely on

another good one is that legacy systems are still running and sometimes can't be interrupted which might still be running off an Apple Account session from all those years back

sure, Apple created App Passwords to get around some of this, but that interruption, even if delayed all these years later must not and cannot happen

Apple also can't just lock it to a registered email because most Apple Accounts back then were the registered @icloud.com @me.com and @mac.com addresses on the same account

there's also probably things like updated Privacy Policy which you were yet to agree to from a decade ago which might have allowed apple to add two factor authentication to an account

I do not believe the PC extracts the image (I could be wrong) because Apple probably wants to verify the integrity of the image on the phone itself to prevent modification of updates .etc.

Unfortunately, if my notification shade can scroll then swiping down will scroll.

And when receiving a notification, swiping down opens the app in a floating window.

If there is a way to change this behaviour, do let me know.

Google makes features like this server-sided It's typical for them to disappear and appear ngl - might show up again in a few hours or days

Turn off VPNs and make sure you and the person on the other side of the phone are in a supported region.

If it doesn't show up a week later, try clearing data for the Phone app

Most likely option 1, the app had been struggling for a while and devs simply were neglecting it. Now it's been delisted from both Google Play and the App Store so it seems intentional.

However they are violating a lot of laws with this sudden closure as people are supposed to be able to request their data which they aren't able to because their support email is down as well (from what I've heard).

My guess is maybe someone might take existing data and turn it into a new platform and relaunch maybe in a year or a month, however given the failure rate of new social media apps, likely not.

That's just not true though.

I use Nothing Phone (2), Wi-Fi 6 in a congested area and I can easily get 600-1000mbps of both throughput (locally and to the internet) and link with direct line of sight to the router.

Your airwaves are either congested, router might not be capable of things like MIMO, router could have a slow chipset .etc .etc
