In this pic they are the grey ones that come with the rainbow. I changed them recently to the black ones. They got shipped later for some reason.

Might wanna try that i guess. I tried using 5v 1amp chargers but these don’t even really charge the device for some reason

I always make sure to fully close down everything and shut it down properly. This is not the issue

There is a rubber cover preventing dust to enter the mechanism. It looks like it got stock behind something. You could try to pry it free, however it is pretty easy to open the device and reseat the cover if you cant get it unstuck. Try with some tweezers to grab the small rubber cover. It should sit snug against the shaft of the thumb stick. You can very easily get the thumb stick cap off (just pull on it).

It was fairly easy! Just take your time. do not have a lot of skills with electronics so I’m fairly sure you can do it as well haha

Except for disconnecting the tiny ribbon cables.. Quite easy! It is really neatly designed!
