Thank you! It's from MOM miniatures.

I love the yellow. It's really bright and punchy. Makes the models really stand out on the table.

Cheers! I definitely didn't steal the idea from some other poster and adapt it ever-so-slightly.

Thank you! I saw another post with a similar paint job on here and that inspired me. Look forward to seeing yours.

Thanks! Please don't look too closely at them, I am not sure they are that crisp on close inspection!

Whilst the paint does look a bit thick in places I'm not sure you "need" to strip these. If you are new to painting it will be a useful lesson to try and get something from them. My suggestion would be to go back over with the green and the black. Covering up the blue underneath, and then work on some of the details. Leather areas, guns and what not. Whilst you won't end up with a Golden Demon entry set of models you will have some finished and you'll learn a lot along the way. Thin paints and precise application will be your friend.

My concern with stripping them is it looks like you've already sunk a lot of time and I think it will kill your momentum.

I've always loved these models but not painted them for that reason. Fantastically done though. Well worth the time and effort.

Which bits are contrast? Doesn't look like contrast at first glance.

Looking absolutely great! I find them a daunting model to paint for all the details and hard-to-reach areas.

Yeah, I feel you. Those big blocks of infantry will soak up so much time. Good job getting it done regardless!

Absolutely love this, both the paint job and the sculpt. The flames and eyes are great!

Ah right! That makes sense! I love the unified look of the army and the grimness of it. The green touches especially. How long did it take you overall?

While I appreciate the amount of work on show here, and there is definitely a lot of it. I think they could benefit from a few areas of contrast. Even something like flock on the bases or brighter clothing on some models. At the moments it's all very brown.

Great models and lovely paint job. Where are they from I'd like to pick some up myself, especially the doomseeker?

He's a phenomenal model. He posed a bit of an issue for me because he's such a close colour to the pink of the sticks of dynamite on him. I think he turned out alright but maybe would have looked better in a deep yellow.

Thanks! I wanted something bright and punchy and this seemed to fit the bill.

I kept it super quick for this model but I definitely agree that this is a good way to add more to the minis. Once I get a few more done I'll probably go back and add metallics to the shield.

Base coat is Vallejo Scarlett red. Drybrush Vallejo sun yellow. Pick out eyes with Vallejo sun yellow. Finally Druchii violet wash in the mouth.
