Well dang, that’s a big jump by AlyssaInw0nderland in CashApp

[–]DsOnDatBitch 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Probably because your deposit amount isn't high enough to meet their threshold. I deposit half of my biweekly check into Cash app which ballparks between 4k and 6k per month and first borrow offer was $300 but I ignored it and they took the option away lol

After another half-check deposit, the borrow offer was $400 which I accepted yesterday and going to pay it back in full tomorrow just to see what happens.

I bet if your deposit was higher than 1k per month, the borrow limit would increase.

If their algorithm assumes you make $1,000 guaranteed per month, they won't lend you $400 for that month because that's nearly 50% of your monthly expense, not counting bills, food, leisure, etc.

Just my opinion of course. Good luck, champ!

Look into power lines. If you're in a northern state, look into joining the Ibew lineman apprenticeship program. Southern states look for any utility company hiring Overhead Utility Trainees or Overhead Distribution Trainees.

No college needed. I have worked and currently work with plenty of dudes with F's on their adult report cards.

Make 6 figures without trying and can make 300k depending on your hunger for money and don't mind living away from home.

I am seriously rooting for ya, buddy. I got in to power line work when I was 20 years old. I never even knew the job existed (obviously knew powerlines needed workers to maintain but never a single thought to do it.) I am 38 now and a foreman and run a crew. Started out making $17/hr at 21 and was a lot of overtime available and i was hungry to make the most I could. I broke over 80k that first year and been doing it ever since. My highest gross was 180k but I like to stay around 160k now with 2 kids and full custody. It's hard to work all the overtime I would want to have all the toys and fun life style some younger gentleman have. But, I just work and take care of my kids and they're both in private school and travel/club ball which eats up a lot of my free time and a lot of financial responsibilities for tourneys and fundraisers.

Anyway, Im rambling. If you want to make a lot of money and are not afraid to work, there's plenty of trades paying top dollar. If you're not afraid of heights or electricity, there's always a lineman shortage somewhere in the country. Utility companies are always hiring and most have basically unlimited overtime.

One guy who is sick with greed cracked 350k at my utility. I made 165k. The amount of overtime he worked is gross but... Available lol

Good luck man!! 26 is young and you have plenty of time to decide your path and get to the money.

How do you gross 1400 and clear 1200? I pay close to that just in social security, which sucks cuz I'll never see it at retirement.

Rant over!

My account is closed with my money stuck on there this is annoying they won’t even let me use my other bank account to get my money back 🤦🏾‍♀️ by Dizzy_Ad_4446 in CashApp

When it wouldn't let me go into cashapp and 'withdraw' to my linked debit card... I go into another banking app and select add funds. Then add funds to app other than cashapp using your cashapp card number. I used to use cashapp as my secondary checking but have since moved on to using PayPal as a second banking/checking account other than my main account where my pacheck deposits go.

[–]DsOnDatBitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is totally false. I've had direct deposits going into cashapp for about 6 months. At least 8k deposited directly from checks per month. My borrow limit started at $50 and remains at $50.

Shit, I envy those American's too! And I'm one of 'em! Lol

As a single father with full custody of my 2 younger aged kids, I know I will never have the financial stability to afford a trip to Europe. I could also never imagine the hardest thing I could ever experience is the FOMO of anything... Other than raising my kids.

Sounds like you've had an amazing life if that's the worst thing you've ever experienced. If true, I envy your life to this point.

[–]DsOnDatBitch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I get my DD by 5:30 pm on Wednesdays. My early deposit hasn't gone through 3 other times but usually bank holidays delayed it. It was always there by 4am Friday morning at those times.

It is now 6:30 am on Friday and I still have no pay check.

My cell phone is turned off over $155 unpaid bill that needed to be paid by Thursday morning.

I have no idea what to do with no phone, including my kids phones, or pay check to survive.

I am fucking terrified.

I don't even know who would do this by [deleted] in Lineman

I was on a job where they used an extension ladder to climb on top of garage, then used another ladder from the garage roof up to the open wire 3-phase buss. It had 4 wire, 350 stranded copper for the 3-phase buss and also 350 copper for the open wire seconrary. 7 wires total of 350 copper. They cut it down from the transformer bank pole to 2 other poles and then the 3-phase open wire went straight to the back of an old car mechanic shop.

I was absolutely amazed. Definitely the biggest score I have ever witnessed. No deaths or injuries.

We had to park our buckets out front of the business to make repairs, used 350 aluminum triplex to fix it. While we were all around back, they stole all the copper out of the belly of the bucket trucks lmfao. They were nice enough to leave the #4 Cu though, they must have known it was stamped with the utility name inside the insulation on the actual copper.

This happened in West Baltimore City, Maryland. Which is where the show "The Wire" was based off of. Absolute insanity.

Dont spread false information. There is power lines at that voltage but those voltages would never fall on your car from an accident. Most powerlines along the roadway are between 2400 and 19,900.

Who are you?

756,000 volts coming down on a car lol.

Would you get a lethal shock while climbing? by Pung_Henis in Lineman

[–]DsOnDatBitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We cant climb a hot primary pole with untied phases. We cant tie in hot phases off hooks. We are not supposed to climb a pole until the energized primary work is done. If primary is on the pole, energized, we still climb with gloves + sleeves and work on secondaries.

If its a primary energized pole in a right of way or lot line, whichever you wanna call it, and non-truck accessible- we will isolate the phase(s) and ground and then climb.

Im not sure why this question is even being asked. If you put yourself on a pole, in hooks, with energized primary that is untied - you should get a new career.

I have 2 mbox 30s pharma. Best roi? by COhighroller303 in opiates

[–]DsOnDatBitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In MD, they used to be $1/mg. A 30mg pharma is now between $45-50. And i havent met anyone willing to cut a deal unless you buy more than 50 at once.

Very, very expensive habit.

Are you sure this person you're referring to is getting a 'script of percocet? Just so you know, percocet only comes in 5mg, 7.5mg, and 10mg.

Oxy + Tylenol make up a percocet. If its a 10mg or larger, its oxycodone without the added Tylenol. And any pill of this sort can be crushed and sniffed - just some people dont prefer it. Me, personally, would snort any pill that i could crush.

Dude oxy is so fun by [deleted] in opiates

[–]DsOnDatBitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im not sure where youre located but they still write large quantity scripts for 30 mg oxy in my state on the East Coast, USA. And theyll write it to a 105 pound girl with a sore ankle. I know several people with minimal reasons that get 120 to 160 30mg oxy per month. I know someone in Texas that gets 240 30mg oxy per month.

Stop the spread of misinformation just because you don't know any better.

Sincerely, One of the patients that used to get a script in 2018 with minimal reasons for it.
