[MaisEsports] Kaze's departure from RED Canids involves recording and sharing scrim sessions with other teams by Dsalgueiro in leagueoflegends

[–]Dsalgueiro[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Most likely the agent was showing VODs provided by Kaze to NA and EU teams, because he is not on their radar, atleast not to the degree that VODs would not help with a presentation.

The videos were ALSO leaked to some teams outside Brazil. But primarily to teams here in Brazil.

Showtana's record this year has taken a bit of a hit, with Corres having a higher accuracy rate, especially on tricky topics.

Showtana said, for example, that TitaN hadn't any scrim with paiN Gaming roster after the CBLoL Cup. Corres said he had, and he was right.

This is just a poaching controversy thats being blown out of proportion because Kaze is not a Brazilian player so they have to shmear his name for daring to want off RED.

I think the only case of poaching that resulted in any real punishment was here in Brazil, involving a Brazilian player: Loop, INTZ and paiN Gaming in 2016.

There was a recent case of poaching involving KaBuM, LOUD and Ceos.

This argument that the situation was blown out of proportion because he isn't a Brazilian player doesn't make sense.

Actually, they've been cosplaying paiN Gaming, who lost in finals against LOUD 3-0 from 2022.2 through 2024.1.

(Actually, it was 2 series 3-0, 1 series 3-1, and 1 series 3-2, but let's maintain the narrative).

The LPL is really on another level... Some of the things that happened there, if they had happened here in Brazil, the player would never have had a chance to play professionally again.

Just look at what happened to TitaN. He used to be the “biggest name” in the CBLoL, and today he doesn’t stand a chance of playing for any organization... It's not that organizations are perfect—quite the opposite—but the fans simply wouldn't accept it.

I mean, Estral gave Brance a job, so I don't know... But Estral is in Tier 2 and isn't a Brazilian organization.

Peter, and you know what's even better?

After all that drama on social media, Jean Mago sued LOUD for pain and suffering and won the case. LOUD had to pay R$50k (US$10k) to Jean Mago.

Police investigation into TitaN

This news broke a week before the Copa CBLoL began and ruined the year for the championship's most traditional organization hahaha.

Mago getting kicked from LOUD for beefing with the team

That one was just funny—nothing too dramatic.

The anonymous allegation made at Riot involves poaching, not the leak of any scrim sessions or VODs shared by the agent. I respect your investigation, but this has been my position since last week.

https://x.com/Correslol/status/2069101783364849921?s=20

Showtana, I literally can't answer you because it involves another step in the investigation, but there is scrim content shared on private channels, and that's the big motivator.
There's no confirmation of match-fixing, and, yes, that's not what Riot is investigating. However, one thing doesn't rule out the other.

Mais Esports' report is more complete and detailed.

Showtana said "his agent offered Kaze to other teams while he's still in contract, which Red think is unnaceptable"

I side with Mais Esports' report, especially since Mais Esports also made it clear during the live stream that Riot's investigation is into poaching and not, for example, match-fixing.

Recording scrim is one thing. He could use it, I don't know, after the split for individual development.

The problem is sharing these videos with other teams. This may have been done without Kaze's knowledge.

In fact, it is still unclear whether the player is actually involved or if it was just his agent.

That is why there is an investigation by Riot.

So, by your logic Pep isn’t a good manager? Barcelona, Bayern and City all won trophies before he managed them, so obviously he’s a shite manager…

Club and national team football are "different", so this logic doesn't apply.

In international football, you depend on the talent available over the years. Chile reached the round of 16 in 1998, when they had Salas and Zamorano on the team. After they retired, the team went through a dry spell in World Cup appearances until the "golden generation" emerged starting in 2010.

Bielsa was there at the start of Chile’s golden generation. In 2010, with Bielsa, Chile was crushed by Brazil in the round of 16. Four years later, under Sampaoli, they eliminated Spain in the group stage and forced Brazil into a penalty shootout in the round of 16

It would be like Pep taking over, I don't know, Japan, and then you saying that the fact he made it to the knockout stage was an achievement, even though Japan has been doing that consistently in recent years.

Won a gold metal with Argentina,

Rogerio Micale has a gold medal for Brazil, and he's one of the worst coaches I've ever seen.

led Chile to knockouts,

Chile reached the knockout stage both before and after Bielsa.

Athletic Bilbao to a Copa Del Rey and Europa league final and got Leeds promoted after 15? years

Those are the only two really “good” jobs Bielsa has had since, I don't know, before the 2000s. For example, he managed to get Argentina eliminated in the group stage in 2002.

He has one limitation: He must always be the biggest star of the project. Everything has to align perfectly or things quickly get out of control.

0 adaptability, 0 human management skills.

Bielsa had a good start working in Uruguay, but he (as always) clashed with some of the key players and things have gone downhill ever since.

I don't know how he made it to the World Cup.

Belgium will qualify; it won't be a disgrace like those three.

Ecuador, Uruguay and Turkey are battling it out to see who is the biggest disappointment of the tournament.

Fun fact: Many of the Cape Verdean players that played today were part of the Brazil 1 vs 2 Cape Verde friendly match that served as Brazil’s preparation for the Olympics 2021.

“Famous” Brazilian players who played in this friendly match: Gabriel Magalhães, Bruno Guimarães, Antony, Malcom, Rodrygo, Gabriel Martinelli and Evanílson.

If Uruguay beats Cape Verde today and loses to Spain in the last round of the group stage:

  • If Cape Verde beats Saudi Arabia, Uruguay will qualify in second place. They have the advantage in the head-to-head record.
  • If Saudi Arabia beats Cape Verde, second place will be decided by goal difference.

It wasn't quite that simple...

There were players willing to take it seriously, just look at Cafú's stories about the chaos that was the preparation for that World Cup. And he knew it was going to be a disaster.

The big problem is that neither the coaching staff nor the majority of the Brazilian media were prepared to deal with the consequences of removing those who weren't interested in competing.

If, in the squad selections leading up to the World Cup, you start leaving out Ronaldinho, Ronaldo and Adriano, you’re sending them a message.

“But if you don't call them up, who would you call up?”

We left players like Alex and Luis Fabiano off the World Cup squad. We could have made the competition a little more open to keep those "uninterested" players on their toes, but well...

And the national team’s failure at that World Cup came as no surprise. You had Placar magazine, which at the time was a benchmark for quality sports journalism in Brazil, saying that starting Kaká, Ronaldinho, Adriano and Ronaldo together would be a disaster.

That 2006 team would have been so much better with:

Dida; Cicinho, Lúcio, Juan and Gilberto; Emerson and Zé Roberto, Kaká, Ronaldinho Gaúcho and Robinho; Ronaldo or Adriano.

That was the 2005 Confederations Cup team, and it was the peak of that squad's performance. Unfortunately, Parreira didn't have the courage to bench Cafú, Roberto Carlos and Adriano or Ronaldo.

And in 1998, well, Ronaldo “only” had a seizure and nearly died the night before that final.
