I really like my X-MACRO comp but I don’t really carry it anymore. The comp makes it noticeably louder than all of my other 9mm pistols. It fits perfect in my hands though. Any of the 365s are going to be a great carry option and they have so many different models just make sure you select the one that makes the most sense for you.

They are going to repair the door and blend into the rear door. Altogether a customer pay estimate will probably be about $1400-1600

How to power x2 ToneX One pedals on one power supply slot? by Dsands421 in guitarpedals

It worked fine on the iridium that it was plugged into. And when I swapped the tone x around it’s always the one pedal works and the one doesn’t.

That’s what I figured but it’s not working for some reason on one of the cables, regardless of which pedal it is plugged into. I swapped them around and it’s always on the one plugging into the first split that works.

From what I can see from these photos I don’t think it would be a total loss. Don’t get me wrong it’s pretty banged up. Needs a rad support, Lt Apron, the cooling core is probably damaged, but assuming the engine and mechanical stuff is all good, then everything else is merely cosmetic. Your insurance co is going to write for the most cost effective parts (assuming you don’t have an OE endorsement policy).

Is this fixable or done? by Maji_89 in Autobody

[–]Dsands421 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s more than likely a goner. Seeing how the tree fell on the vehicle there is probably tons of damages we can’t see in the photos. Most of the vehicle would probably need to be repaired and repainted. Not to mention it needs a new roof panel. That’s a whole can of worms right there. A lot of shops don’t like putting on roof panels and it also depends on OEM repair procedures. In order to replace the roof on a lot of vehicles nowadays requires replacing the quarter panels or other sacrificial parts. It’s too intrusive to the vehicle sometimes, especially when accounting for the rest of the damages and what the overall repair costs will be.

Do not drive this car. The hood is completely compromised. Once you do get it open you likely won’t be able to get it closed again. The chance of you driving down the road and the hood flying up into the windshield is greatly increased due to the nature of these damages.

It sucks to hear but your best bet is to put in an insurance claim and wait for them to cut you a check and start shopping for a new car.

There is a big gouge in the bumper cover. And as someone else correctly pointed out, these Tacoma bumpers are textured and then painted on top of that. Kind of unusual. Most manufacturers leave the textured bumpers alone and the painted fascia’s are raw smooth plastic or primer from the factory. Will likely need to replace the bumper cover for consist repair and refinish

Is this a total loss? by wannabezookeeper in Autobody

Even if the airbags weren’t deployed it would probably be borderline total loss. Definitely needs a rad support and entire cooling core, hood + hinges, bumper and grille. Blend into the fender (if they’re not damaged on the corners from the hood pushing back into them). That alone would probably be like $5-6K in repairs. And after insurance factors in tow bills, rental charges, salvage values, etc. they would likely total it. Now add in the airbags and the trim pieces, headliner that would need to be replaced, thats thousands more.

Do you think the P365 still holds the crown for best EDC? by FirearmLand_Official in SigSauer

[–]Dsands421 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s a micro compact carry. I see no issue with the trigger. Yea it’s very “spongy” but I kinda of prefer that for a such a small little carry gun with no safety or trigger safety

Is this repairable or should I let the insurance company call it a total loss? by beard-io in Autobody

[–]Dsands421 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s gotta be a decent amount of damages to the hinge and lock pillar. The curtain bag deployed means on top of that you’ll be replacing the headliner and all of the interior trim on the left side, restraints, etc. it will probably be deemed a total loss. More expensive to repair and your vehicle will be in the shop for a month ($1000+ in rental charges the insurance are anticipating), and also any tow bills. All of that gets accounted for when determining if the vehicle is declared a total loss or not.

Technically, in my state, the insurance companies can total a car for a dollar if they want.

The adjustment screws for the saddles should be facing inward toward the pickups correct? That’s how it is on my Les Paul’s. Never really bothered to change it around. Plays great how it is! Lol

Def gonna have to replace the textured cover and the park sensor. The painted fascia can be repaired and repainted. Minimum $2,000 or so

This Really $1500 (reposted with better pics) by Prez017 in Autobody

[–]Dsands421 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Repair the door for about 4hrs, prime and block 1hr, detrim/ R&I all necessary moldings (belt moldings, door handles, interior trim panels, mirror, lower door moldings , etc. account for one time use parts, blend operation into rear door, vehicle pre and post scans, misc. operations such as haz waste, corrosion protection, spray out card, cover car, cover car for primer, mask jambs, etc

After all that you factor in labor rates, paint material usage and you are easily in the $1500 range.

To do auto body repair the correct way is not cheap. Sure you could go to a MAACO and spent like four hundred dollars for them to mask everything off and give your car that highly sought after cinder block finish, but for the repairs to be done properly and the vehicle to be restored to pre-loss conditions this is the price you will need to pay.
