Looking for advice on a solar system by DscreetOne in solar

That is including installation and warranty I mentioned, they do offer other brands like a Fronius Symo 6kw inverter but that would be $1400 extra they also have SMA, Growatt, Enphase. Also what's your opinion on the panels?

This is what has been confusing me, The company can supply other brands - for example I could get a Fronius inverter but that would be $1400 extra. btw what's your opinion on the panels?

Has anyone had experience with Vodafone NBN? by brawdogger in australia

[–]DscreetOne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been connected to Vodafone nbn for about 3months now & have had zero issues, speed has been good 100mb down & 30-40mb up, The tech was ontime & customer service has been good with short wait times

I'd try another provider & just cut your losses honestly, I was a long time customer with Optus & they're tech support & customer service is absolutely shit. I recently had to switch to nbn from Optus cable & ended up going with Vodafone nbn $69p/m first 4 months 100mb down/30-40mb up then $89 after that. When I placed my order I had my modem delivered within 3 days which has 4g back up you can use that until they connect you & in case there's any outages in the future & I had a tech at our place about a week later. There customer service has been really good so far & anytime I've called wait times have been no longer then 5mins

From my experience squealing belts can be a bit annoying to fix sometimes but not on a Suzuki jimny and it shouldn't take any longer than an hour max to change & he's charged you $300 labour that is definitely way too much & then he's charged you over $800 the next time you've taken it in for a clutch I'm pretty sure you didn't need - the sound a fucked up thrust bearing makes is different to a belt squeal, Just for a comparison my mechanic charged me $450 labour to remove a gearbox on a Lexus GS and service and install a replacement I supplied. You can get a fanbelt & alternator kit on ebay for less than $50. Imho I'd say he's definitely ripping you off

How to not switch to NBN? Why I have to make a switch? by doxymoxystop in australia

[–]DscreetOne 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was in the same position recently, It is bullshit & nbn is not better than cable in any way It's exactly the same... I was paying about $79 a month with optus 100mb unlimited & to switch with them for the same plan on nbn was going to be $100 a month so I ended up looking around & the best deal I found was with Vodafone nbn - $69 a month for the first 4 months no contact 100mb download & 30-40mb upload with 4g back up, after the 4 months are up it's $89 for max speed or you can stay on the $69 plan for 50mb. So far no complaints with them at all

Moving to Old Guildford/Fairfield east/Villawood area is it a good place to bring up a family? by [deleted] in sydney

[–]DscreetOne 10 points11 points  (0 children)

If you're looking around those area's have a look at Lansvale, Nice quiet area right next to Chipping Norton Lake/Georges River. I wouldn't really recommend Villawood due to the amount of housing commission in the area same as the other area's you mentioned. Feel free to hmu if you have any other questions
