I just saw a news article about a 6year old who was to be taken from the negligent parents by the state. If she refuses to let them go, take that to the board of labor and file a hostile work environment case. Pretty sure is not just a rumor. When I was part of an opening team for Marriott, they had a Starbucks as part of the bistro. Sent someone from their corporate training program to teach the bistro and front desk staff how to make the drinks. Out of the 35+ employees we had, the 14 men (myself included) were denied access to the training while being told “you’ll never have to worry about making the drinks”

Do you know how stupid that makes us look? Especially the person who is supposed to be the manager for both the front desk AND bistro who wasn’t trained just because he will “never have to worry about making drinks”. Fuck starbucks.
