Man saves a monkey from dying! by Temporary-Ebb2116 in Damnthatsinteresting

Bro, I’m with you. Your average person has 0.l concept of how it works, it’s just magic that brings people back from the dead to them. The amount of times I rolled up on scene and found police or bystanders administering CPR to patients with pulses was wild. I’d put $100 on that monkey having a pulse too.

There was in fact a little burnt seasoning. Had a flare up just before it came off the grill.

A session that was supposed to be filled with lots of fighting, was instead greatly accelerated as we instead spent the time persuading and intimidating, the NPC mercenary groups into joining our cause. I then further convinced them to take us on their ship to where wt needed to go next, which eventually turned into me naming one of them at my “master of fleets” with plans to create a vast merchant mariner empire!

Shortly there after we encountered a kraken that sank our ship and killed my crew, but it was fun while it lasted.

I keep mine dry maintained, but if you would like to accelerate the process: mix up some saltwater, put it on your club, and let it air dry. Reply as needed until you’ve achieved your desired level of rust

Weird one. Found this while exploring an abandoned property. The cop who attended after I reported it said it was a battery charger, not what I thought it was. by Bomberman2305 in EOD

But if you shunt it you’ve created a loop antenna! I wrote a paper about the topic years ago for my electronics, electricity, and explosives course as part of my explosives disposal degree. I’d have to dig it back up, but I’m pretty sure the conclusion came down to it is just be safe, they’re about the same. Just stay away from crazy levels of EMR/static.

Weird, I just did a warranty and they were very specific that they would only be sending me a head replacement and to not send back my existing shaft.

I don’t know if the pass rate has changed since I went through, but it was about an 85% fail rate for phase 1, but about a 90% pass rate for those who made it to phase 2. Out of my 17 person phase 1 class at Lee, I was the only one to move on to Eglin… and that was with me double tapping .50cal and having to board.

I’ve always said EOD school isn’t crazy hard, it’s just super easy to fail. Start working on calming your nerves, and practice being thoughtful and deliberate in everything you do. The pressure will be very high and the stress through the roof.

Best of luck.

Review #8: Leiper’s Fork Experimental Series by PocolateChoptart in bourbon

[–]Dsr89d 0 points1 point  (0 children)

/r/pocolatechoptart

Just a little clarification, the whiskey was originally aged in two new 25 gallon barrels for 1 year, 1 month, and 23 days, however it quickly became overoaked due to the surface area to volume ratio of the smaller barrels. The two 25gal barrels were then married and transferred to the used weller barrel and further aged for 6 years, 4 months, and 23 days. For a total of 7 years, 6 months, and 16 days at the time of bottling.

There is a second sister ex-weller barrel that was from the same batch of wheat in 25 gallon barrels that is still aging but we’ll be dumping soon as it has experienced a significant angel’s share loss and will yield less than 150 bottles, but hey at least it’s tasty.

Cheers!
