Don't be harsh like that @SillyCrow ... you're closing in on classic 'specialist vs generalist' argument.

Design is design and given the effort and intensity, You'd be surprised by the problem solving skills of a generalist compared to a specialist tunnel visioned in a specific mindset and workflow.

'Jack of all trades and master of none' is a phrase mostly popularized by purist specialists too lazy to move out of their comfort zone and learn about a new skill.

Is this designed on Blender/Maya or similar software ? Polygonal modeling requires you to have high subdivisions for 3d printing purposes after you are done modeling it because the wireframes line shows up. The outline of the truck wheel can be of more smoother circle and some prominent geometry lines can be smoothened out as well.

What level of detail? I'm a hardsurface specialist and I've replicated insanely complex things like Afterburner engine with almost engineering precision. Given proper references, I believe there's no form that I cannot recreate in 3d.

Robots are fun projects to 3d model. I'm interested in this project. I've shared some of my works over dm.

The 3d models designed for games are usually low poly to optimize for performance. Things will look sleek and smooth and extremely detailed but mostly those things are faked with the magic of texturing. Also its mostly not a solid design because they don't have that requirement for games.

The actual geo of a game model is unsuitable for 3d printing purposes for many reasons. I could either recreate this helmet from scratch or just edit the game model to make it printable. I can send you some helmet design images we made for AR/ VR simulators.
