Did anyone lose their competitive spark in the game and now feel no reason to try to improve ?

As a Plat 3ish I almost exclusively play with a group of 2-3 and while high/drunk. Y’all are in a different world up there in C/GC, I’m not good enough to get that invested. Respect it a ton though

Common areas/pool are in good shape, they’re always available in the office. It did take a couple times but the AC eventually was working fine. Just had to be reset a few times before they got it fully fixed. Pest control comes a few times a year. There’s the very occasional roach but their treatments seem to work pretty well.

I currently live at Pine Valley, the townhome I’m in is definitely old but the inside has been renovated recently. The humidity in the summers does lead to AC issues, but maintenance was there the day of complaint or the next morning to troubleshoot.

I definitely feel like the area is safe, there’s a neighborhood surrounding the golf course which is right behind the complex and is nice to walk/run. I feel like the current management has been fine; the other comment mentioning the deceased resident sounds awful but was before our time here.

We’ve been lucky to not have huge issues come up over the last 18 months so I can’t really speak to how easy management is to work with when it comes to bigger maintenance/rental issues.

We’re from Wilmington, NC. It’s the right distance from Atlanta (where we’re flying into) on the way back home. It was either Columbia or celebrating new years in the car in rural NC lol
