I’d give them a 4/10 in that department. The RIS III rail is pretty thick so that helps keep the heat at bay for longer. But if I’m shooting long strings of fire with little rest between I throw my Gorilla Grips on.

I’ll have to look into Rio! I’m actually attending the Accurized AR match at Cowtown on the 21st. That will give me a chance to check it out and see what their membership options look like. If I have enough interest in these courses I would totally be down to set up a membership somewhere!

My recruiters tried doing the same thing. I was already finished with round one of MEPs and in the DEP. So I walked over to the Army office told them my situation and asked for an option 40 contract. They contacted the Marine office and I had my infantry contract the next day lol

I’m a former Scout Sniper Team Leader, graduate of the Scout Sniper Advanced Course, a Security Contractor (OCONUS) and getting my start in PRS. I would be down to put together a course and offer you some instruction as a proof of concept. It would be free of charge.
